Today, I got a call that my custom order bridesmaid dress is at the apartment complex I just moved out of. They won’t give it to me because I’m no longer a resident, but they just thought I should know. The wedding’s tomorrow. FML
Today, my maid of honor, who offered to take care of my wedding dress before the D-Day, left it near her open window during heavy rain. My dress is now ruined, and she's backed out due to stress. I'm supposed to be getting married tomorrow. FML

Today, I realised that despite all my careful Christmas preparation, there is one thing I forgot to get. The gift for my wife, which I should've picked up from the shop I ordered it from. It’s sat in that shop right now at 7pm on Christmas Eve. I’m a dead man tomorrow morning. FML
Today, I stretched out my wedding dress on my bed so it could air out before the big day tomorrow. Later I returned to my room only to find my cat on my wedding dress, it peed on it. FML
Today, it is my wedding day. I couldn't find my very expensive wedding dress anywhere. After almost 2 hours of panic and chaos, I found it in my pool, covered in red paint, with a note on one of my lounge chairs reading, "Today is MY wedding day, bitch." FML
Today, I went to pick up my wedding dress from the seamstress, only to find out that my fiancé called two weeks ago to say I wanted the dress "tie-dyed to match our new theme." She believed him. Our wedding is tomorrow. FML
Today, my boyfriend gave me an early wedding present. I opened the box and inside was the most adorable cat I've ever seen! It got scared, jumped out, clawed my face and pissed everywhere. My wedding is tomorrow and I look like Frankenstein's bride. FML

true BUT depending on where you buy from there is no guarantee when it will arrive. I purchased something from etsy for my father's Christmas gift and it took 2 months to arrive so he didn't get his gift until February. always make sure there is a shipping option that allows for faster shipping so you know when you will get it.

Explain it to her. A true friend will try to help you. Mind you if she really can't help you though, her wedding IS tomorrow. I hope you can resolve SOMETHING and unless your friend is a massive asshole I doubt she'll completely lose it over something you have no control over. If you're not in the wedding the dress shouldn't matter. Everything takes longer by mail, you need order it more than a month out. It does suck for you but at the same time YDI for not planning ahead.

It just depends on where it was ordered from. I once got a package from China in 3 days when they said it could be a week or 2 (I live in the US).

Likely it was something like Beyond the Rack, or one of those types of sites. They can take months to ship.
