Today, I woke up in the hospital. I had apparently overworked my heart so much that I fainted. What caused it? I was playing a racing game on my Wii and freaked out when I won first place. FML

Today, I was feeling really good about myself for running and walking everywhere so much so that I was out of breath and panting. Well, until I remembered that I was playing a video game and it was my character that was doing the running around that is. FML
Today, I fainted and woke up in a hospital. My mom drove me to the emergency room. The doctor said I had a panic attack. What did I have a panic attack from? Bidding on eBay. FML
Today, my brother got upset at his video game and flung his DS at the wall, just as I was walking by. I got knocked out to the sound of someone crossing the finish line in MarioKart. FML
Today, I had a weird dream I woke up on the bathroom floor at my local gym. Turns out it wasn't a dream, and I passed out from "overworking myself". I was on the treadmill for under 5 minutes, walking. FML
Today, I finally finished a gruelling shift at the hospital. I hadn't slept in over 30 hours, so I was happy to get out. I was quickly rushed back in after I collapsed in the parking lot and cracked my head open. FML
Today, I came home from the hospital diagnosed with high blood pressure. It's caused by stress. My wife had a very long talk with my son about it. All the kid has been doing for the past 2 hours is scream at his Playstation. I'd rather be at the hospital. FML
Today, I was at work as a lifeguard. The temperature was absolutely stifling, but I tried to tough it out. A couple of hours into my shift, I passed out, fell off my stand, and crashed into the water. Or so the medics tell me. FML
Today, I went to the doctor for a routine check-up. When the nurse took my blood pressure, I passed out, and fell off the table. FML
Today, I finally went to the hospital for a week-long migraine. A few Saturdays ago I went to the park to play frisbee with my friends and coworkers. While climbing a fence, I fell and hit my head twice. Turns out I have a severe concussion and a swollen brain. FML
Today, I was at work and got chest pains and a headache so bad, I vomited. My supervisor took my blood pressure twice and it was dangerously high both times. I went to the hospital, and after 3 hours of waiting, I got the most expensive lecture ever on drinking too many energy drinks. FML

Am I the only one who actually thinks that the OP is actually severely underweight? Usually people who are underweight have extremely weak hearts. Especially if they over worked their bodies and don't eat anything. I mean I don't really know of ANY fat person who faint and winds up in the hospital because they got too excited. But that sounds more likely of someone who hasn't been giving their body any nutrients.

I'm inclined to agree. I know one girl who's 5'0", 85 pounds, and has some major heart trouble. She gets dizzy at any sort of overwhelming event. (Interestingly, she's not anorexic in the traditional sense. Her body's being anorexic without her control.)

yeah i agree with 22. i had really low blood pressure from a medication i was on, and i lost a lot of weight too. i was dizzy and out of breath even if i was just chasing my dog around the house for a minute. i was really stressed out too, so i was barely eating anything. i haven't gained any weight, but i'm off the medication and eating more again, so i'm not dizzy anymore and i haven't fainted in months. so my guess would be underweight, malnourished, or low blood pressure. op, make sure you eat 3 meals a day, that's helped me a lot. i was eating like once a day and that was bad. and no, i wasn't anorexic, i just wasn't hungry. and if you're on any medication, you could have low blood pressure. i hope you can play wii without any troubles soon hahaha :)

Ever occur to you that some heart problems are genetic or birth defects and have NOTHING to do with someone's weight?

Did it ever occur to you that about 90-95% of all heart failures are due to preventable factors, such as smoking, high cholesterol, obesity, hypertension (can be genetic, but usually not), and diabetes (preventable in a majority of cases.) Only an idiot would say that the most likely cause is a birth defect.
