Today, I went to the dry-cleaner's and went to get my bag of laundry from my trunk, but I ended up dropping the bag. My dirty underwear blew around the parking lot. I had to chase it all down as a bunch of people looked on. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I went to the laundromat. I put a load in the dryer and walked away to check on my other load. When I came back, I saw a homeless man putting his dirty, wet underwear in the dryer with my clean clothes. FML
My drip
Today, the dry cleaner next to my house went up in flames. I went outside to look at the fire, as I looked on in amazement I realized I had dropped off all of my work clothes at the cleaners two days before. I was supposed to pick them up today, but was too lazy to walk the 10 feet to the store. FML
Today, I was washing some clothes in the laundry room at my apartment complex. I went back an hour later, passed my neighbor on the way in, and moved my clothes to the dryer. I just brought them back from the dryer, and all my underwear are missing. FML
Smooth criminal
Today, I went to pick up my laundry from the communal machines in my apartment building. When I got there, all my clothes were neatly folded on top of the dryer. I was impressed, until I realized half of the pile wasn’t mine. I'd been carrying someone else’s underwear up to my apartment. FML
Today, I grabbed a pair of pants from the dryer in a hurry, trying to make it to the bank. When I rushed in, I felt something fall down my leg. It was a pair of my mom's granny panties that had been stuck inside my jeans. I kicked them aside, hoping no one would notice. They did. FML
Today, after a day of walking around downtown, shopping and going out to eat, I came home to notice I had a dirty thong stuck to the back of my shirt. FML
Today, after putting a bag of dirty laundry in the laundry room to wait for an open washer, I came back to find a "free stuff" sign on all of my expensive jeans, new towels, and favorite sweatshirts. The bag was over half empty. FML
Today, I went to do my laundry. Having no laundry bag, I put clothes in a suitcase and headed to the basement. When my roommate saw me, she burst into tears with happiness. FML
Today, I returned a friend's jacket after borrowing it. I made sure to wash it and keep it clean. When he went to put it on, a pair of my granny panties fell out of the sleeve. FML
Today, I went to drop the garbage in the compactor as I left to do some shopping. I quickly put my handbag down on the side, threw the 'garbage' in the machine, watched it do its thing, and then turned round to find... the bag of garbage on the side. FML

Since when does underwear blow in the wind and why would buy underwear you have to get dry-cleaned anyway?

That's probably even worse. What if someone had seen it and tells you you dropped them?

Something about airing your dirty laundry in front of strangers.

I was about to say something along these lines. May you live out your days in the seventh circle of Hell for beating me to it.

I'm already there, son.

I agree. I hope that OP got everything under control.

At least you don't know them personally, maybe if you're lucky you won't have to see them again in your life

Because the really nice stuff usually need to be dry cleaner or it will be wrecked. and everybody like to look fancy

I'd never spend that much on underwear.

Underwear blows in the wind if it's on the ground on a windy day, the same as anything else. But I don't know of any undies that need to be dry cleaned so maybe op meant laundry-mat? Either way, the image of op chasing around her panties in the parking lot while people watch is pretty hilarious to me!

If OP's female, they probably have some lacy, fancy, silky panties that can't be machine-washed.

Maybe she's dropping some stuff off then taking the rest to a laundromat and the panties just happened to fall out.

I was thinking the same thing.

Speaking as a woman with lots of lacy and satin underwear - you still don't dry-clean it. You hand wash it and use a drying rack. I have never seen or heard of underwear that needs to be dry-cleaned. What is most likely the case is that OP is too lazy to spend their time doing laundry... or if they make enough money it can make more economic sense for them to pay someone to do it instead.
