Today, I went to the doctor to see why my walking pneumonia wasn't getting any better. It had. I've just somehow managed to also contract mono... while sitting home, alone. FML

Um, I think it's time to check for pervy ghosts.

Mono doesn't start taking effect for like a month or two later. So it all depends on what you were doing then. But I feel your pain. Feel better!!

Sometimes mono doesn't show symptoms for weeks. I shared a drink with my friend who'd had it previously and then a month later I had it.

I've had walking pneumonia and mono at the same time as well! It was awful so get better soon! I was out of school for 2 months and was being sent to various doctors and taking different Medicines. But is it mycoplasma pneumonia? I wanna know to see if maybe there's a connection

No, there's no direct connection. Mono is caused by a virus, and mycoplasma is a bacterium.

Being sick is horrible...get well soon...

For all Dutch people: mononucleosis is caused by the Epstein-Barrvirus and also known as the illness of Pfeiffer.

I've had mono, it's not spread just by kissing. The high school I was at traced it back to our water fountains.

It got on your school's water fountains by somebody with mono putting their mouth on the fountains....

Well you probably got mono several months ago, but it takes a ling time for the symptoms to show.

My sister's boyfriend used to have mono, so whenever my sister feel bad everyone says she has to get her mono checked out.

Sounds like my luck! Hope ya feel better soon!

I've had mono a bunch of times, my immune system is in the toilet from meds I take for Lupus. It is not awesome. Feel better soon!

Oh damn I've had both of those & they SUCK. Feel better soon!
