Today, all of my friends and teachers asked me what was wrong because I looked sad and tired. One kid even said that I looked like "an abused housewife the day after." I was fine. It was the first time I went to school without wearing any makeup. FML

Today, it was my first day at my new high school. I put on a tiny bit of makeup, just some mascara, to feel more confident. I got in the car and my mom started yelling about how horrible my makeup is, basically calls me a slut for wearing it, and makes me take it off. I ended up crying in the bathroom on my first day. FML

Today, I was yelled at by multiple people at work for not wearing any makeup. The only reason I don’t wear makeup is because my mom is guaranteed to make me cry before I leave the house every morning, so there’s no point. FML

With the way supermodels and celebrities are made up nowadays, there's a lot of pressure for young girls to wear a full face of makeup. In high school I used to spend long periods of time doing dramatic smoky-eye effects complete with foundation, blush, and lip gloss. It didn't look bad, it's just I got so used to wearing dramatic makeup that one day I decided to go without and one of my friends told me I looked Asian and a teacher told me I looked like a little boy. They were just joking around, but I took it personally now I feel naked if I don't wear makeup. So I understand how you feel, OP. Nowadays I'm more comfortable going natural, but I still feel awkward if I'm not wearing even just a bit of mascara.
