Today, I went out to eat to celebrate getting over the stomach flu. I hadn't eaten solid food in over a week, so I was really excited and ordered my favorite dish. It gave me food poisoning. FML

Today, I was fired from the restaurant I work at because I missed my shift. I missed it because I was in the hospital for food poisoning from the meal I ate at work last night. FML

awe man that just really adds insult to injury...think of it this way, you have used up the bad luck for a little while. :/ erm... I don't know how much that helps though

Girl I used to see thought she had food poisoning then thought she had stomach flu if your still sick in two weeks your pregnant. atleast thats what it ended up being with her.

There is no such thing as a stomach "flu". There are stomach viruses and there are different strains of influenza, none of which affect the gastrointestinal tract. Influenza is a RESPIRATORY illness. Influenza is incapable of infecting stomach cells because of the way they are shaped.
