Today, I was supposed to start my vacation in Italy. I guess not everyone heard that I canceled it due to health problems, because this morning I caught two of my "friends" unplugging my TV after breaking into my house. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Keep quiet
Today, I learned that you shouldn’t announce on social media that you’re leaving on vacation for a week. Your house might get broken into, and all your electronics will be missing. They were kind enough to leave a note saying, “If you can afford a vacation, you can afford to replace all this shit. Have fun!” FML
Thanks for all your help
Today, after being in Europe for a month, I got home to find my door wide open and all my stuff gone. I called my dad who was supposed to be watching my house. He told me I should have had someone check on my place while I was gone. FML
Today, I took my new laptop into my house from my car, thinking it would be a too much of a target for kids grabbing it. I came home tonight to find my door kicked in, my laptop gone and my TV ripped from the wall. FML
Oddly specific
Today, my house was broken into. The burglar didn't steal my brand new laptop, iPad or TV. They instead made off with every single item of clothing I own. When I went to turn on my TV to try and distract myself from this, I found all of the cables in back missing. The police don't believe me. FML
Today, I returned home from a three-week vacation. None of my friends realized I'd been gone. FML
Today, I returned home for the first time in a year, and found my entire computer missing. I asked my grandma about this, and she told me that she threw "the TV" away because it "no longer responded to the remote control." FML
Stuck
Today, my parents canceled our trip to Greece because my siblings were being brats. When I tried to point out that I wasn't doing anything, they just shrugged and said, "Sorry honey." FML
The happiest place on Earth
Today, we were supposed to go to Disneyland but we got in a blazing argument. Then this morning I woke up to my alarm clock disabled, he was gone, my ticket was in the kitchen shredded, and when I rang him the bastard was in the first class lounge, waiting to get on the plane without me. FML
Not now!
Today, on my long-awaited vacation, I got a phone call from my sister. Her childhood friend died. She bawled on the phone, and my plans were ruined. My husband said it was selfish of her to do such a thing when she knew we were on vacation, so she ramped up the drama times ten. She and her friend used to bully me. FML
Today, I returned from a week-long vacation. My landlord told me he had let my boyfriend in my apartment to get something. I don't have a boyfriend. Everything in my apartment is gone. FML

Your "friends" are not your friends. Hopefully they didn't steal any bail money in anticipation for their arrest.

Who needs enemies when you have friends like that
FuckThisLogin 32
Maybe they were just borrowing it?
xTommytheGUNx 15
i have friends like that they borrow shit when im not around but i always get it back...
DoomedGemini 38
Yeah, "borrowing" without asking is STEALING.
Sheepies123 6
Borrowing without asking is still borrowing as long as you return it. What you mean is taking without asking, that is stealing.
fotomiep 7
If they haven't asked beforehand, it's not borrowing. If they're breaking in to get it, it's not borrowing. Simple.
DoomedGemini 38
So if I take something with the intent to give it back and the person has me arrested I can get off because i have the intent to give it back? No. Borrowing you have permission.

You didn't happen to post on Facebook about it did you? That's how burglars find places nowadays
bonermonkey 31
Maybe if you posted publicly but they can hardly be blamed for telling their friends and then their friends being the burglars.

you couldn't just shoot em? oh wait you're in California. they're probably armed lol. is that why you didnt call the police?
leogachi 15
@36 In California you can't shoot a person who isn't armed, so trying to use "they were armed" as a reason you didn't shoot them is dumb.
StarkWolf_fml 23
I'm saying due to gun laws in California he probably doesnt have a weapon while the thieves do. can't call the police if you're held at gunpoint. derp derp!

echarlotte 19
how did they think you wouldn't notice when you came back??
ShowMeKay 20
Obviously they realized OP would notice the missing TV. They just thought they could steal it without OP knowing who did it.
echarlotte 19
I mean if op went to the friends' house and saw it there after his was gone
NYGiants1925 22
Seriously? You should have them arrested. That's ****** up.
