Today, I was meeting my boyfriend's family for the first time. The minute I stepped in the door his mother hit me in the face and kicked me out because I was "the slut her husband cheated on her with." My older sister and I look much alike. Too much alike. FML

Today, I went to my boyfriend's house to meet his parents. Right when I arrived, his little sister said, "She's a lot fatter than you said!" FML
Today, my friend called to say my boyfriend was at a diner with another woman. I immediately went and caught them in a deep conversation. I slapped him and yelled "Who's this bitch!?" It turns out she's his half sister. FML
Today, I went to my step-sister's for family dinner. Her husband was really drunk and openly hit on me in front of most of my family. I nonchalantly ignored his advances. Later, my step-mom said it would not have happened if I didn't dress like a skank. FML
Today, I met my boyfriend's parents for the first time. His mom stared at me throughout dinner before finally blurting out, "I'm sorry, I can't get past the fact that you look just like his ex!" It turns out I do. FML
Today, I was going on a date with my girlfriend. When I took her home, her sister came to the door. I used to date her sister and I didn't know they were related. My girlfriend realized this, then kicked me in the crotch. FML
Today, I met my boyfriend's adoptive family. There was his mom and several brothers, one of whom tried to hit on me. They tried to convince my boyfriend to break up with me, and his mom told me I'll probably get knocked up by the brother who hit on me. FML
Today, my sister told me her ex-boyfriend abused her and I went to go confront him. Turns out, she lied because he dumped her after she cheated on him. I got my ass kicked. FML
Today, at dinner with my boyfriend and my family, my mother had too much to drink and asked my boyfriend how I was in bed with the purpose of embarrassing me. His reply? "Not as good as her sister." His defense? "It was only one time." FML
Today, I saw my older sister for the first time in three years. We hadn't spoke since I found out that she was the woman my college boyfriend left me for. Unfortunately, our reunion was fueled by her two-year-old son's desire to meet his dad. My husband. FML
Today, some girl punched me in the face and left a huge purple bruise. Apparently, her boyfriend has been cheating on her with me, because she always sees him walking me home. Her boyfriend is my older brother, who didn't bother telling her who I was, because he "wanted to see what she would do." FML

Were you aware of that situation prior to this? If your boyfriend means a lot to you, have a sit down with his mother once she's calmed down, and hopefully you can get things resolved. Good luck!

I honestly hope that you can sit down with your boyfriends mom and talk to her about this.. You definitely don't deserve the wrap for your sisters actions, whether you look a lot alike or not..if she's not willing I would continue your relationship but as far as your boyfriends parents? Stay away..

I really hope you didnt know that your sister had affair with this woman's husband. Also did your sister even know he was married, she could have been equally a victim of your boyfriend's father's indiscretions. If you can have a heart to heart with his mom and she comes to an understanding that you didnt know and you are not your sister and she's ok with you, then by all means continue dating. If she continues to be irrational and violent, I would break it off with your bf.

Unless your boyfriend never speaks to his parents then you are going to be getting his family along with him. I learned the hard way that a boyfriend/girlfriend who does not like your family, or whom your family hates, is going to make you miserable. The mother sounds overly violent and you would be attached to that. I doubt she will ever forgive your family for the cheating of her husband.
