Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Today, I poured my heart out to my girlfriend with a serenade. After I finished, she told me she'd come over to tell me she'd found someone else and wanted to break up. FML
Today, my ex got dumped by his girlfriend. Seeing my opportunity, I sent him a song I'd written for him, about how much I still love him. He sent it on to the girl who had just dumped him, claiming he had written it. They're now back together. FML
Today, after months of all my friends telling me that the guy whom I was in love with most definitely held feelings for me, I was finally convinced by their words, and with confidence I went and confessed my feelings to him. I was rejected. FML
Today, I was dumped. My boyfriend was too afraid to break up with me, so he sent the girl he cheated on me with. FML
Today, I got broken up by someone I wasn't even sure I wanted to date in the first place. He also made me realize how little self-respect I have right before dumping me. This is the best thing to happen in my love life in years. FML
Today, I told the guy I like to listen to a song that expressed how I felt about him. When he was done, I asked what he thought about it. He said it made him realize that his ex was the love of his life and that he wants to go back to her. FML
Today, I decided to break up with my girlfriend. I sat her down and gave her the speech. She broke down in tears and said, “Why does every guy always abandon me? Why am I never good enough?” I felt so bad for her that I took back the breakup and we’re still together now. FML
Today, I decided to be playful and leave my girlfriend flowers and chocolates from an "Anonymous Admirer". She immediately dumped me, saying she couldn't be with someone who "isn't even as romantic as a stranger". Yep, I think I just got dumped for myself. FML
Today, a guy I had developed feelings for broke things off with me, giving me a version of the “it’s not you, it’s me” line. This was the first person I had liked/wanted to date in almost 8 years. I think I’m destined to be alone. FML
Today, I was talking to a guy I liked. He was dumped so he was ranting about how there's no good girls left. I mustered up some courage and told him I was a good girl and that I would treat him right, at which point he pretended to have an emergency phone call and abruptly left. He talked to his lock screen. FML

Well not that you care, but I have to agree with KaySL. The guy shouldn't have pursued a relationship with OP, knowing that he had feelings for someone else. It was very unfair to her, and she ended up hurt in the end. Not to mention that KaySL has the brains to properly capitalize a word here and there.

The death of his best friend in detail, having him tell you no one has ever cared for him so much, so real, so physical and mental all at once, you're perfect....... but my ex who I complained about for 8 months before spending this amazing time with you is somehow better despite the fact the condemns me and my life <--- guy. Yea... I almost left my entire life and family behind for this man. Douche...

So the guy must be named Neil Goldman, you must be Cecelia, and the other girl must be Meg Griffin. Am I right? This totally reminded me of an episode of Family Guy :] On a serious note, he isn't worth your time. It seems like he just used you to make her jealous. If it's any consolation, that women is clearly an idiot to have fallen for it, and he is a manipulative asshole who I'm sure would have pulled more manipulative bullshit later on in the relationship. Seriously, you didn't lose anything worth missing. I know it sucks right now, but you are way better off.

Oh, god, that sucks...That asshole deserves to have that guitar rammed up his sorry ass. Though that'd be sad for the guitar. Seriously, though, being a rebound sucks, even more so when you get dropped right after BECOMING a rebound. FYL and I hope you find a guy who deserves you and won't pull that shit.
