Today, I was driving out to a concert I've been excited about for months. I was using my GPS to guide me to the venue. It decided to guide me to an abandoned warehouse in the middle of town. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my GPS told me that I'd reached my destination. In the middle of the highway. FML
Final destination
Today, I was giving a friend a ride to a party and I followed Google Maps blindly. After 25 minutes of driving, we pulled into a cemetery. The GPS cheerfully announced, “You’ve arrived at your destination.” I suppose it is in a way, but we didn't plan on being early to THAT party. FML
Turn left into the lake
Today, I got into a heated, one-sided argument with my GPS, and ended up driving around in circles for an hour due to roadworks messing with my GPS's computations. FML
Lost
Today, I agreed to go on a last-minute road trip with my friends. Everything was going great until we realized we had no GPS signal in the middle of nowhere. We ended up following a "shortcut" suggested by a farmer and got stuck in a muddy field for hours, with livestock giving us judgmental looks. FML
Today, after leaving work at 10 pm, I took a shortcut to the highway. After getting lost, my GPS informed me that the service was unavailable and I should try back in an hour. This occurred moments before I ran out of gas. FML
Sorry Sweaty
Today, I got lost on my way to a wedding and yelled at my phone's GPS for giving bad directions. After 20 minutes of rerouting, I realized I’d accidentally set it to “walking mode.” I arrived 45 minutes late and sweaty in a full suit. FML
Google Maps strikes again!
Today, I went shopping for some nice clothing for work. Annoyed that the first two stores I went to didn't have anything, I drove to a store in an unfamiliar part of the city. Not only did Google Maps direct me to a store that doesn't exist, but my car broke down in the parking lot. FML
Today, while driving home, I was so lonely I turned on my GPS, even though I knew the way, so it would feel like I had someone to talk to. It made me feel better. FML
Let's offroad!
Today, my GPS led me to a "shortcut" that took me through a winding dirt road in the middle of nowhere. My car got stuck in the mud, and the tow truck driver told me I was the third person he's pulled out this week from the same "shortcut." FML
Today, I was following my friend to her house in my car, because I didn't know where it was. I'd been following her for at least an hour when she pulled into a gas station. Turns out I'd been following the wrong car. I have no idea where I am. FML

Sounds like the beginning of one of those horror movies...

It's 9pm and OP is happily following his sat nav, excited about the concert tonight. The sat nav flashes-"You have reached your destination." OP pulls in, but all he sees is an abandoned warehouse. "That's funny...." OP decides to get out of the car anyway, to see if he can get an idea of where he is. The full moon is in the sky, and the night is eerily silent. He walks over to the warehouse to see if anyone is nearby. "Hello?" he calls out. The echo bounces off the old brick structure. Suddenly he hears breathing over his shoulder. OP whirls around but there is nobody there. OP walks back to his car hurriedly, convincing himself that it's just his mind playing tricks. Suddenly he feels a hand on his shoulder and a menacing whisper. "You're not going anywhere..."

GPSs are the definition of trolls. They'll take forever to recalculate, and when they do it's AFTER you pass the road you would've turned onto. That's why I hired an old man. Easy to follow, but difficult to stuff in a glove compartment.

Stay on the left side of the road, now turn right, recalculating................... Make an illegal u turn..... Recalculating.......... Jump the fence and turn left...... fist pump to Justin beibers song..... Recalculating.....

If my GPS ever tells me to fist pump to a Justin Bieber song, I'm smashing it with a hammer and burning the shards.

Even your GPS knows how much One Direction sucks. It was trying to protect you.

I think OP was a Nickelback fan, in which case, but you could be right too. No matter what, I agree with the GPS. Keep him away from that shit!

The GPS's auto-correct feature probably filled in "Wrong Direction." Those things are smart!

Maybe it was going to be a rave and you came early because you are still in daylights saving and never noticed!

I was thinking the same thing haha, go inside and there's a massive rave, X everywhere. And OP missed out.

Sounds like that GPS has ulterior motives...

It's all spelled and used correctly.

I replied to the wrong post. Sincere apologies 24, your spelling is indeed flawless. Still, there are at least 2 dimwits that agreed with me...

You drove out to a concert where you knew the address for months or didn't bother looking for the place beforehand?
donut_gurl 8
well when you drive to a new place, you should look it up before you go, even if you plan to use GPS you should have an idea of where you are going, as it is technology, and not perect. Also, you should have a map for back up... people these days are too dependant on technology!

Perhaps the band was playing in the warehouse... I dunno. I don't get out much but I've seen that on tv.
