Today, I was a bit upset to learn that my 13 year-old daughter had a boyfriend. When she noticed, she assured me that I shouldn't worry, because "it's just for sex anyway". FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I found out that my daughter not only has a boyfriend, but that they're trying for a baby. She's barely 15. FML
Today, my daughter's 14-year-old boyfriend confessed, in front of her, that he only went out with her so he might have a chance to date me. My daughter isn't speaking to me. FML
Today, I picked my 12-year-old daughter up from school after her first sexual education lecture. She burst into tears on the way home explaining her fears of being pregnant with her boyfriend's child. As if that doesn't sound bad enough, I've met her boyfriend before. He is imaginary. FML
Three is a magic number
Today, my 15-year-old daughter told me that she's pregnant. To make matters worse, she doesn't know who the father is. She told me not to worry though, because she has it narrowed down to "like, only 3 guys." FML
Stop right there
Today, I walked into the living room to find my 11-year-old daughter about to kiss her "not my boyfriend" on the lips. When I asked what she thought she was doing, she peeled a piece of scotch tape off her lips and said, "It's okay! We're using protection." FML
Adulting
Today, I found out my 20 year-old daughter has a 46 year-old boyfriend. She met him at her job. When I objected, she told me that I can’t tell her “heart” what to do because she’s “grown” and “in love.” I had to teach her how to wash and she still leaves dirty pads on the floor, but sure, she’s “in love.” FML
Today, my 15-year-old birth daughter asked if I've ever had sex. FML
Today, not only did I find out that my 13 year-old daughter is pregnant, I found out that she did it on purpose "to prove that she’s responsible." FML
Today, I overheard my 14-year-old daughter telling her friend that she's saving money to get her hymen surgically removed so her first time won't hurt. FML
Don't drag me into this
Today, my boyfriend's 13-year-old daughter called me a "stupid f**ing b****" on Snapchat because her dad wouldn't go on the trampoline with her. I had nothing to do with any of it. FML

Time for sex talk with your daughter

At that age, she barely needs to know what sex is…

You all are so one sided the little sister of a friend shes 13 has size d and is really mature you'd guess her 16/17 at least | your age, race, hight, vocabulair or whatever you can think of doesn't define who you really are

Intelligence and boobs doesn't mean she's experienced and mature enough to handle potential pregnancy, STI's, and the heartache that can come with relationships and breakups. There's a time and a place for everything, and perhaps 13 is a good time to practice the art of French kissing.

I'm not sure what large breasts have to do with being mature. Just because she looks the part, doesn't mean she can handle the part.

64, I totally agree with that last part. that, and cuddling or such, is about as far as it should go at that age.

Invest in a chastity belt...

She is probably mimicking what she thinks happens to everyone via friends and/or movies. She needs to know that most of the world isn't that exaggerated and that it's worth taking things slow and waiting for someone she really cares about.

And by "taking it slow," I don't mean waiting until after next month's dance.

Wow. The upcoming generations are inevitably tainted by sex and drugs. Not even the parents' faults.

Sex doesn't taint people

Buy her some condoms, show her a video of a mother giving birth and show her pictures of stds. If she is going to have sex you might as well show her what can happen if she isn't careful. I mean it's either she has sex and you know or she tells you she is going to her friend Nancy's house when she is going to nick's house.

Instead of trying to scare the girl, why not give her proper information? Scaring her will only get you so far. Also gives false perceptions of sex. Instead educations on all aspects of sex is more important, the good, the bad and the dirty.

Time for a trip to get an effective birth control and have a good talk about STDs. It's young to be having sex, especially so casually. But since she has already started it's not like you can talk her into stopping, so just try to help her protect her future (so it's still there when she realizes her mistake)

Yawn, welcome to about 5-10 years ago, this is pretty much defacto now. Not that I agree but can't change a generation.

In my middle school in sixth grade almost every girl had already had sex at least once im a freshman in highschool now and still dont wanna be with those girls

Despite how 'sexualized' today's teens appear to be your daughter is most likely to be talking about cuddling. Most kids that age don't even understand the dynamics of actual sex. Either way, you should probably have an honest chat with her.

I'm pretty sure the majority of 13 year olds understand that sex isn't just "cuddling". I don't know about you, but I had my first sex education lesson when I was about 10
