Today, I wanted to see if the frying pan was hot. I no longer have fingerprints. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I dropped a pizza I made. Don't worry though, I caught it between my hands and legs. I no longer have fingerprints on my right hand. FML
Today, I was cleaning a pan. I turned the water on, and it was super hot. My reaction was to slam my hand down. On a knife. So, not only do I have a burned hand, but there's also a huge cut on it from the knife. FML
Kitchen nightmare
Today, after placing it on top of the stove, my hot tray of freshly-baked cookies slipped. I caught it, though. With my bare hand. FML
Today, I was in a hurry to get something out of the oven, so I quickly grabbed my roommate's only oven mitt and grabbed the pan in the oven. It didn't take long to figure out there was a hole in it when my thumb hit the hot pan. FML
Today, I accidentally touched a hot pan and, like any normal person would, jerked my hand back. My mom saw, yelled at me for being a "prissy princess" and then proceeded to stick her whole hand on the hot pan for a full 5 seconds. FML
Kitchen nightmares
Today, I dropped my phone in the frying pan whilst cooking my steak. I had to rinse off the oil immediately and clean the phone, then had to eat a cold steak. FML
Today, as I was trying to remove my lunch from the hot oven tray, my finger brushed against the metal for a moment, and I instinctively put it in my mouth. I burnt my tongue, on my finger. I didn't realize that was possible. FML
Today, I dried my hands on the same towel I used this morning to wipe up a few shards of glass. You can't see the small splinters in my hands, but believe me, I can feel them. FML
Today, I found out that the built in lighter in my car does NOT in fact glow red when hot. I now have circles burned into my finger. FML
Today, while cooking, I managed to burn my finger. I quickly turned the tap on and ran my finger under cold water, but apparently someone had just used the hot tap, because boiling water flooded out onto my nicely scalded finger. FML

It's a frying pan. What precisely were you expecting?

I did the EXACT same thing at least I was high at the time so it didn't hurt, but trying to do my job the next day sucked all the boxes I tried to pick up were so slippery.

i hope op didnt do it with every single finger on his hand. and for no finger prints at all he had to dive right in there with both hands.

Fingerprints do grow back...

No, the police will simply have to look for someone lacking fingerprints.

Yeah, I guess burning off your fingerprints is much more practical rather than, I don't know, wearing gloves?

rock on. I almost did the same thing with the heat lamp at my work, in the pass-thru. (i work at a restaurant), because it looked like the bulb was out. I am glad i did not, we are open for 24 hours, and those things are never turned off. Luckily i asked my manager first, otherwise, i may not have fingers. I need those. Be grateful, because after asking my boss, she told me why one of my coworkers carries her tray with her left hand...and why she does not have the tips of her fingers on her dominant hand.

I can help shorten it by just a smidgen. I nearly burned my fingers off on a heat lamp.

# 10 if you dont have fingerprints then that makes it even more obvious that you did a crime! not a lot of people don't have fingerprints!

But more then one person does so they cant prove anything.

Depending on how many fingerprint-less people live in that area. My guess is not many. Although w/o fingerprints it could just look like op was wearing gloves, which I'm surprised more criminals don't think of.

But a lot of people would wear gloves, so it really is no different.

True! But I know a person who actually HAS a fingerprint! Im not lying, im serious

#14 But you can't prove that the reason there were no prints was that the perp had no prints. He could have been wearing gloves.
