Today, my parents came for a visit and spent the whole time pressuring me to ask my doctor for medication to lose weight. FML
Today, I found out my mother-in-law is trying to force me to lose weight, even though I am trying, and have a medical condition. FML
Today, I found out that of the three medications I am taking for depression, one causes weight gain, one causes severe weight gain, and one "might cause weight gain." FML
Today, my mum was saying she needs to gain weight because she was underweight according to her doctor. She then said she's going to eat like me in order to gain more weight. FML
Today, I found out the medication my doctor gave me for depression is making me fat. My main reason for depression is an eating disorder. Now, I'm fat instead of just thinking I am. FML
Today, after I skipped dessert for the third day in a row, my mom cornered me and accused me of being anorexic. I'm actually not far off being clinically obese and I'm just trying to diet, but nothing I say will convince her. She wants me to see a psychiatrist about a disorder I don't even have. FML
Today, my mother told me I've gained so much weight recently, she thinks I should get gastric bypass surgery. FML
Today, I told my mom I lost 30 pounds because of an eating disorder. She told me to keep up the good work. FML
Today, I told my mom that I think I’m anorexic and she told me she didn’t care. When I asked why, in disbelief she replied, "Honey, you are 5’3 and over 350 lbs, at this point you NEED to be anorexic." FML
Today, while at my mom’s house, my mom told me that I need to seriously curb my food intake. Then I went to my dad’s house and he told me I need to gain weight. I can’t win here. FML

Exactly what I was thinking. As a parent or someone who's supposed to be a role model in someone's life you should always be uplifting. It's people like OP's step-mom why there are many people dealing with insecurities, body image issues, and/or depression. Even if OP is on the heavy side, there are many ways of trying to encourage her to lose weight without being rude and hurtful.

43, a parent's motivation is like 70% of a child's confidence, most people want to know their family is proud of them, think in the OP's mindset how devastating this could be to a persons confidence by someone who you have to call "mom" (or stepmom, some people call their step parents their real parents but in this case I'd call the OP's stepmom a ****)
