Today, I started my day off with a relaxing cup of coffee, the morning paper, and the sound of my mother informing me I will be going to hell for being not believing in God. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I was so hungover, I started yelling at inanimate objects. My mom walked in on me calling my cereal a "worthless piece of shit sent from the bowels of Hell." FML
Not a morning person
Today, I went to make coffee, but having just woken up, I forgot the paper filter. You can guess what was in my coffee… FML
Today, as I was brushing my teeth, I heard my mum praying to God to help her "get rid of such a stupid child". I have no idea what I've done wrong, and she's refused to talk to me all day. FML
It's not a cult, I swear
Today, my parents threatened to kick me out of the house if I didn't agree to convert to their new brand of Christianity. This is a day after they ranted at me about how I should speak my mind more and not let myself be controlled by other people. FML
Today, my mom started getting ready for the Rapture. FML
Sabotage!
Today, I had to eat my breakfast in terrified silence, as my hungover mother staggered into the room, shouted at the kettle for not boiling fast enough, and after a few seconds, screamed that I'd sabotaged it. I'm now grounded for supposedly trying to fuck with her head. FML
No cussing
Today, my parents punished me and made me wash my mouth out with soap for cursing. I'm almost 19. I said the word "Hell". FML
Today, I decided to tell my mother what I thought about religion. I've been raised catholic. I told her I was converting to Wicca, to which she sort of nodded and walked away. I went into my room to study with my earbuds in, music loud. I walked out to see a cross nailed above my door. FML
Hank Pecker
Today, I woke up early, went to the gym, then came home and showered. When I went into my room to change, my mom woke up and started pounding on my door, screaming about how lazy and useless I was for sleeping so late. When I tried to tell her otherwise, she grounded me for "talking back". FML
The big man upstairs
Today, I was informed by my parents that their relationship with God is more important than their relationship with me. FML

People like her give us normal Christians a bad name..

What I'm saying is that theres two types of Christians: the over religious type Christian that tries to force their views on everyone else, and the normal Christian who believes in God but doesn't shove their beliefs down everyone's throats.

You don't need to go to church or congregate to get into heaven, simply having faith in your heart is enough. I don't even believe in He'll, think about it, why would someone made of pure love despite the evil someone may have caused torture you forever? Seems very inhumane and make much more sense to just out them out of there self misery in eternal death.

If your mother is living in your home then you're a saint and God loves you, even if its a one way relationship. If you are living in HER home, then taking her to church for an hour a week is not too much rent to pay, even if you do so solely out of love for her.

Sounds like my mother. People like this are the reason we can't have nice things.

If you don't believe in god, you probably shouldn't believe in hell (I don't believe either one exists).

You're mom needs to learn to be open minded. She is obviously just ignorant and has absolutely no idea how the world works.
