Today, I re-joined a popular on-line dating service. I'd first signed up 3 years ago and was matched with a wonderful woman. After about a year, she broke up with me. I was devastated. After two years of trying to win her back, I'd decided it's best just to move on. Guess who they matched me with? FML

Today, I signed up for an online dating service, a couple of days after my divorce. I got my first batch of matches, and number one was a smiling picture of the woman who had just divorced my ass after 20+ years together. Her profile shows she has to have been active there for months. FML

Today, I went on two dates from a dating app. The first one said halfway through that we couldn't date because it would break his contract. The second one catfished me. This is why I have multiple dates in one day. They never end well. FML

Today, I called my mom to see how she was doing. She quickly hijacked the conversation and said that she's signed me up for a dating site, because she feels bad that I can't find a decent man. I've been dating my boyfriend for seven months, and she's seen me with him multiple times. FML

OP follow up prediction: our lives are going great now. It totally opened up our relationship. Literally and figuratively. We caught about it at first, but we've learned to be open with each other. And in the literal sense, we realized we are both up to new sexual experiences, so three ways and side dates are fair game now and we still get to love each other when we come home. Live is great! Watch, you'll all see. I called it

I don't understand what's so hard about not cheating. If you wanna be fkin with someone other than your significant other then you should break up and then be with the person you do want to be with. There's never a nice way to dump someone but I'll tell ya, after having been cheated on and having cheated on someone else, I'd rather a guy break up with me (or me break up with a guy) instead of cheating on me (or me on them). If I wanna be fkin a different guy than I'm with, that's when I know it's time to end things and then pursue the person I want instead. There's no point in staying with someone you can't stand, aren't attracted to in anyway, or you no longer love/like the person. it's a waste of both parties' time and effort. Not to mention how much effort it takes to conceal the betrayal and always have it weighing on your conscience.
