Today, I received yet more mail for my ex-fiancé. We've been broken up for nearly a year and I've told him multiple times to change his address. Getting his mail is a constant reminder that I haven't dated since. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, I received a note from my creepy ex, whom I broke up with two years ago, saying how much he still misses me. I live over 100 miles away from him now. The note was hand-delivered to my new address. FML
Today, I realized that I get more mail addressed to the old tenant of my apartment than to me. He hasn't lived here in years. FML
Today, I received an invitation to my ex’s wedding. We were dating for three years and just broke up four months ago. FML
Too little, too late
Today, I got a message from my ex saying how sorry he was for everything he did. He also said that if he wasn't getting married and having a kid we could still be together. We broke up a year ago. FML
Stalkerish
Today, I discovered my ex has been signing my email up for various newsletters. I knew I was getting a lot of spam, but didn't know why. It became apparent when one of these emails had his name in it. FML
Weirdo freak
Today, I found out that my controlling, verbally abusive ex-boyfriend from nearly four years ago is still obsessed with me. Apparently, he's told everyone back home that he and I are getting married as soon as I finish college. We haven't spoken in over two years. FML
Today, my ex-boyfriend announced he was engaged. We broke up last night. FML
Today, I finally found out who has been sending me hate letters, it's my husband's ex-wife. They've been divorced for 7 years. FML
Today, I learned that I'm in that special kind of relationship where my ex thinks we're still married, no matter how many times I tell him that we were divorced over a year ago. FML
Letting you know
Today, I felt like letting my ex know just how I felt about all the bullshit he put me through. I dug up his number, typed a long paragraph with lots of pain and emotion, and sent it. The reply was, "No wonder he broke up with you." Thanks, whoever has that number now. FML

Stop forwarding it to him, he'll probably change it then.

Two things: 1. Write "return to sender, addressee unknown" on all his mail and send it back. 2. Go to the Post Office and let them know what's going on. They can put a hold on his mail so that it doesn't come to you anymore. I had to do this for the people my husband and I bought our house from because they never did a change of address after the sale. Also, you don't need to date to go out. Call up a friend and say, "let's hang out" and then follow through. Don't cancel no matter how you feel. Unless, of course, you're enjoying the misery and pity, then you're on your own.

Op, stop whining and go out. You're never going to get a date if you just sit around and mope all day. Or sign up for a dating site or something.

Steal his identity and go shopping! Seriously the comment that you should get moving on with your life is a fair comment... Doing nothing will only make you feel worse. : ) Chin up OP.

why should she steal his identity, he probably didn't do anything wrong. that's just a bitchy thing to do. op, go out on a date or something and stop bitching.

OP, tell him that if he doesn't change his mailing address, you'll file his mail in miscellaneous drawer, i.e. the shredder. You know what an ultimatum sounds like, right? I mean, one of you had to have made one when you broke up. ...Too soon?

You can't change it on someone else's behalf.
ohSNAPyall 27
Unless they authorize you to. Otherwise, stalkers, etc. could just forward your mail to their addresses.
