It's the same way for me hun. I have bitched to my hubby for 3 years to just hold me once in a while. Now when he does, it feels awkward and unnatural. I don't know if I should leave or try to get used to it... and if I get used to it will he stop and hurt me again? Good Luck!!!!

Maybe he doesn't do stuff like that because he picks up on your discomfort. So in an effort to give you your space he allows you to alienate himself from you and stifles his own fulfillment to see you comfortable. See what I did there? Unqualified relationship advice goes both ways people.
