Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. She slapped me in the face, stormed out and won't answer my calls. What the hell? FML

The family stared in silence, and I quickly realised she was just teasing me... until I stood up and knocked over an entire table of drinks. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend with a ring from Kay Jewelers. She saw the box, started giggling, whispered, "'Kay", and then started laughing so hard at her joke she had to excuse herself. FML

If you've pranked her before, you deserve it and that's rude. But if you've never done anything like that leave that chick and run. When my fiancé proposed to me I said "that can't be real" and he said "yes it is" and I said "of course I'll marry you!" Only because a month earlier he did he wanted to wait a year to propose. See, it's easy to call this insecurity. But i tho it's just plain craziness. I can't i,gained how conflicted you must be, but based in that reaction, you might be dodging a bullet. Hope things work out and you can at least talk to her? If not, good luck!
