Today, I noticed I parked behind a boy I like. Trying to impress him with my driving skills, I ended up forgetting to put the car in reverse and rear-ended him. FML

A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I was driving around a parking lot, looking for an empty spot. Someone was backing out a bit too quickly as I was about to pass by, so I honked to announce myself. The driver instead panicked and reversed into my front bumper. FML
Today, while arguing with my boyfriend about how I wasn't a bad driver and could parallel park, I thought it would be easier to just let him do it. Unfortunately, while getting out of the car to switch seats, I forgot to take the car out of drive and it ran into the car in front of us. He was right. FML
Today, I stopped at a red light, when I noticed the car in front of me was in reverse. I honked at the driver, hoping he'd realize and place the car in drive. He thought the light turned green and immediately backed into me. FML
Today, I got to my underground parking garage at work and saw my boss pulling into a spot. I thought I would show him my reverse parking skills and decided to park beside him. As I was pulling in he opened his door to get out and I smashed into it, nearly running him over. FML
Today, I was driving home from work and noticed the car behind me was tailgating me pretty badly. I was starting to get angry with the driver, and kept glancing in my rear view mirror at him. While I was doing so, the traffic ahead of me stopped, and I rear-ended the car in front of me. FML
Today, I was driving along when I saw a hot girl walking. I decided to impress her by doing a 180 degree turn. Successfully pulling off my trick, I decided to back up so I could go the right way. Not looking behind, I backed up and smashed into a wall. FML
Today, while I was driving, I saw my driving instructor from high school walking on the sidewalk. As I waved to him, I rear-ended the car in front of me. Guess I really showed him how much I learned from him. FML
Today, I tried to back my car into my parking space while some of my neighbors were out by their cars. I accidentally rammed into the retaining wall behind my spot. I was hoping the neighbors didn't notice the huge crunching sound, but they did. FML
Today, I decided to be a good driver and not run through the yellow light. As soon as I stopped my car another came and rear-ended me. The guy told me to go in the parking lot so we can exchange information. So I drove into the parking lot, I turned my head and watched him drive away. FML
Today, while driving, I got a call on my cell phone. Trying to be safe and avoid an accident, I pulled into the nearest parking lot before answering. While I was turning in to park, someone rear-ended me. FML

I do this too. Whenever i see someone i know... For no reason at all i drive fast. But just remember that no one cares about your driving ability.

Driving faster does not show you have a good driving ability, it shows you don't know how to stick to the speed limit. The best drivers (on regular roads at least) you don't even notice because you don't have to keep a sharp eye on them in case they do something stupid.

Depends on the road there's desolate roads with nothing but grass fields on each side 50 miles or more around where I Iive. The speed limits 30... The whole way. If you were to go the speed limit I'd contemplate shooting you.

It's a case of drivers with good reactions and knowledge can drive fast because they have the judgement to know when to, but going fast does not mean you are a good driver. Driving at a speed you consider safe on a road like that is fair enough, but driving faster than you otherwise would in order to impress someone suggests you're not driving with safety in mind otherwise you'd be going that speed to begin with. If you're unsure it's better to stick to the speed limit and let people overtake than drive erratically. People who loose their minds when stuck behind a slower driver instead of calmly overtaking when it's safe are just as bad as the slow pokes in my opinion.

^I actually prefer people who speed over people who drive slow. Just because you drive fast does not mean you're an irresponsible driver. I'm generally speeding and I never get into accidents because I know how to brake appropriately and keep my lane. I seriously hope you're not one of those people who drive in the left lane on the free/highway.

Just because you drive fast doesn't mean you're a responsible (and therefore a good) driver either, which is my entire point. I don't know what's made you think that since I'm happy driving at a speed limit I'd drive at less than that or drive in the wrong lane? (The left lane would be the correct one in my country though)

Man, nobody seems to like your comments. don't worry I agree with you though. but I don't usually go the speed limit unless it's in a town or city. that's a straight 50. on country roads that are 80 I go at least 95. max I'd go is 130. in my neighborhood I generally go 30 or under
