Today, I moved into my university dorm a week before classes start. Everyone kept giving me weird looks as they watched me move my stuff in. Finally, one of my dorm mates asked me if I knew that school had actually started last week. I didn't. FML

Today, my father was helping me move into college. When we arrived, the students helping people move in mistook me for one of the parents. I’m 19. FML
Today, I moved into my new college apartment for the next year. A 45 year old guy with a mustache in short shorts and no shirt answers the door. He will be one of my roommates. FML
Today, I moved into university residence, looking forward to finally being able to come out of the closet. I started chatting with the hot guy moving in next door to me. He said I was cool, and he was glad because he was afraid he'd be living next to a gay guy. FML
Today, I started at a new school. It's a pretty great school, but there's only one problem: Everybody thinks I'm a teacher. I'm only a freshman. FML
Today, I began my job as an intern at a high school. I saw one of the students looked very familiar, and I couldn't remember from where. Then I figured it out, I had hooked up with him at a club last week. He's a junior in high school, I'm in my last year of college. FML
Today, I moved into a new apartment. While moving boxes, I ran into my supervisor from work. Guess who lives across the hall. FML
Today, I paid a surprise visit to my parents, after having moved out for university last year. My room had been stripped bare and all the family photos featuring me were missing from the wall. When I asked why, my mom asked me in return why I was asking stupid questions. FML
Today, my landlord started showing my apartment, where I have lived and paid rent for over 2 years, to prospective tenants. I didn't realize that I was moving. FML
Today, I finally got the guts to walk out of class 30 minutes early, only to find that the back door was locked. As I stood there like an idiot trying to get it open, all 200 people in my class turned to laugh. My professor stared at me. I then walked back to my seat, sat down, and unpacked. FML
Today, I had artfully managed to avoid anyone knowing that I was moving into a trailer park. I showed up at the trailer where all my friends, co-workers, and exes were waiting. My parents knew I was feeling down and wanted to throw me a surprise "moving in" party. FML

A lot of you keep saying he probably got dropped from classes so he wasted a semester or go home & try again next semester.Its really not that serious.He could enroll in different classes or even the same classes but with different professors, you have late enrollment and time to drop classes & pick up different classes without penalty for at least a week.Its not the end of his college career.Some of you are such drama queens.

Not everyone is meant to go to college. I would take it as a sign and save your money (or is it your parents' money?). You obviously aren't cut out for it if you mess up something like that so badly.

I don't understand why this is serious. Last year i missed the first three weeks of University(I was pretty seriously ill) but all the same i had no problem catching up. But i suppose my uni does an awful lot of online uploading, including classes/projects/etc so we are lucky in that respect. Maybe its harder to catch up elsewhere?

What?! Which college have you been going to? In my experience, professors start teaching the day the course begins, or the second day of the course, if you're lucky.
