Today, I felt like going to the gym. I asked my girlfriend if she wanted to come with me. She screamed at me for supposedly implying that she's fat. No, I just wanted to go to the gym with someone. FML
Today, I asked my boyfriend what he wanted for Christmas. He then told me that he would only tell me if I promised not to get mad, so I agreed. He told me that he wants me to start working out because I'm getting fat. FML
Today, I was telling my boyfriend about how self conscious I am and how I obsess about my weight. He said, "Don't be ridiculous, you don't need to lose THAT much weight." FML
Today, my boyfriend sent me a text that said, "I can't be seen with you anymore. You're too fat." FML
Today, I told my boyfriend that I didn't know what I was going to do over the Christmas holidays since he was going to be out of the country. He suggested that I work out and do some sit-ups. FML
Today, I was at the gym, when a pretty overweight guy started staring and eventually taunting me. Let me tell you, lines such as "Lay off the cake, fatty!" and "I can see your gut hanging out your ass, for fuck's sake!" don't exactly boost one's self-confidence. FML
Today, I realized I agreed to go to the gym with my fiancé after being on my feet at work all day because he wants to get fit, but he will not help me remodel the house I’m working on so we can have a bigger place to live, because he doesn’t feel like it. I don’t want or need to go to the gym. FML
Today, I was at the gym. I'm 360 lbs and have finally decided it's time to change that. Some girl and her two bitch friends thought it'd be fun to follow me and belittle me at everything I did. When I mentioned it to the staff, they said that they were just "encouraging" me. FML
Today, my wife tried to forbid me from going to the gym anymore because in public she looks fat stood next to me and it’s embarrassing. She picked me up from the gym yesterday and saw all the “thin gym sluts” I prefer to spend my time with instead of her. God, I’m sick of her lazy jealous BS. FML
Today, I went to the gym that I just became a member of, making an extra effort to look good because I've heard there are hot guys there. The lady at the front desk said they need to take my picture, then took a second look and said, "Don't worry hun, we'll take it when you're more prepared." FML

I have had boyfriends and an ex-husband like that. My current husband will acknowledge that I'm chubby, but he's always making sure I know he finds me beautiful. He would never say something like "people will have to see you there". He and I love to dress up and go out on the town, he's proud to have me on his arm. He's supportive by helping me with food choices. If someone loves you, they see you as beautiful. Yes, that's a bad sign when someone is as negative as that. I would start taking this relationship much less seriously and start dating other people. If you're living together, I would strongly advise moving out.

I'm sorry but you're the one that wanted to lose weight. I swear to god this is such a double standard. Girls want guys to go to the gym but guys can't want girls to go to the gym? You know maybe he was just trying to look out for you. Ever think of it that way? Maybe he knew you'd be embarrassed so he said you shouldn't go to a gym. But instead you do the typical bitch thing and complain that he thinks you're fat when you're the one that just called yourself fat. And then you go post it on FML for attention. You're a bitch.

Apparently you are too self-concious about your body to take it humorously. so tell him. Talk. Open mouth and explain why the comment hurt you. And then stop taking everything so seriously. So what if you're chubby? The world won't end. Your boyfriend is still your boyfriend. Life didn't end because you gained a few pounds, so stop tying yourself in knots over it. You both need to work on your communication skills...

That does sound like a dick move but maybe he didn't mean it that way. Sometimes it's embarrassing to go workout in public places. Ask him about it before you do anything rash.

How much weight could you possibly have put on over the holidays? I mean, if you are one of those superficial girls who thinks shes fat just because she added a single pound to her 98 pound alredy body, then the rude comment sounds fine to me. In the chance that you really are overweight and want to lose it, then dont blame it on the holidays.
