Today, I had to hunt down and collect a stray dog's feces for my parasitology class. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, whilst walking to a primary school to give pupils a lesson on cleanliness, I tripped and landed on a dog turd. FML
Treasure hunt
Today, I caught my dog attempting to shit on the carpet. When I saw him, I screamed. Startled, he ran around the house, continuing to take his shit. Now, I don't have to clean up a nice pile, I get to go on a scavenger hunt and find all of the scattered turds. FML
Oh shit
Today, as I was getting ready to go to class, I accidentally stepped in dog poop. I was in a hurry, so I scraped it off as best as I could. When I go to class, I noticed it smelled. The girl behind me noticed and said, "Mmmmm, smells like food in here." FML
Handful
Today, I was walking my dogs when I noticed one of them had found something, and was eating it. After my command to "drop it" went unheeded, I took it upon myself to scoop it out of her mouth with my finger. After getting it all over my hand, I realized it was a piece of another dog's poop. FML
Squishy or non-squishy?
Today, I went to the bathroom. On my way back, I found a small piece of trash in the hallway so I picked it up. It was cat poop. FML
Today, I was walking dogs for the animal hospital I work for. I accidentally dropped the leash, and in my haste to retrieve it, I frantically grabbed the ground. I got the leash, and a handful of fresh dog poo emitted from the dog I was walking. FML
Today, as I was teaching my 10th grade biology honors class, a student came in with a dead frog and asked if we could dissect it. He tried to toss it to me and missed, so it landed in a girl's lap. She threw up all over me. FML
Today, I stepped in dog shit, barefoot, in my own bathroom. The dog had been outside for two hours earlier, and I'd watched him take a dump. Apparently he was saving some for when he got back in the house. FML
Today, I was walking my dog when, as usual, he did his business in the grass and stepped off to the side. I squatted and reached for the bag when my dog spotted another canine. He lunged forward in excitement and I landed face forward in the feces. FML
Today, I stepped in a pile of dog shit. While trying to get it off by wiping my foot on the grass, I stepped in another pile. FML

That doesn't sound fun no matter how you try to make it sound.

The things we have to do for an education.

This sounds mild compared to what some of my science teachers have made my classes do..

We had to dissect a giant white rat, (a girl, pregnant), take out her stomach and put the potential mice babies under a microscope to examine them, then cut the ears, eyes, and nose off to examine as well. I didn't see the point of the eyes ears and nose. I think my teacher was just disturbed. Excuse the book I just wrote! :)

Endure or fail. Lol, words to live by in that professors class!

I've also dissected a cat before, in my vet class I took in high school.

No fighting here. I can't deny that I worded that like a moron! Thanks for deciphering what I meant though. For the record, we were talking about science, not proper sentence structure;)

I love all the extra stories:D But really, dissecting a cat might tug on my heart strings.

It was hard, but they had been euthanized before hand, it was actually pretty cool

Well, I dissected a cow eye in 5th grade... Yes, 5th grade. I was also partners with my nemesis, who I seriously had to stop from tearing that eyeball apart with his scalpel... Ah, good times.

Recruit the local little kids! "Hey kids, go pick up those chocolate pieces over there". Make sure to make them wear gloves.

I would hope there aren't stray dogs roaming around and that they all have proper owners that care for them the correct way. ***In biology class I had to look at my own urine underneath a microscope (super cool!) but now I think it's considered bio-hazardous.:P

In a few weeks, our class will be required to collect urine, fecal and blood samples from ourselves and run some tests on them. I'd much rather collect stray dog turd than collect my own! :(
