Today, I had to give a speech but I wasn't prepared. I decided to give it anyway. While giving the speech, I got so nervous I passed out. FML

Today, I had to give presentation at work, for which I'd extensively prepared. However, as soon as I started speaking, I had a sudden panic attack and forgot everything I'd rehearsed. I stumbled through the presentation, feeling the embarrassment steadily grow in front of my colleagues. I almost passed out. FML
Today, I had to give a speech on stage at a local preschool about fire safety. I'm 32 years-old and passed out on stage because I felt extremely nervous and intimidated by a group of 4 year-olds. FML
Today, I tried to break up with my boyfriend. Midway through the speech I'd prepared, I fainted and hit my head against a wall. FML
Today, I had a panic attack while giving a presentation on how to breathe to avoid having panic attacks. FML
Today, I had a big presentation at work and I was feeling really confident. I'd practiced it over and over and I knew it inside out. But when I got up to speak, I realized I had left my notes at home. I ended up winging it and it was a disaster. FML
Today, while giving speech in class, I choked on my own spit and had a coughing fit while everyone stared at me intently. When I finally regained my composure, my teacher told me my time was up and to sit down. I hadn't even got finished the first paragraph. FML
Today, I went to a very important job interview. I was so nervous that I passed out right in front of the interviewer's desk. FML
Today, I got up on stage excited to recite a spoken word piece that I worked on and memorized for about 20 hours, neglecting other obligations like studying for an exam the next day. I blanked out in the middle of the performance in front of hundreds of people. FML
Today, I spent an hour preparing a heartfelt speech for my friend’s wedding. I stood up, got emotional, and promptly fainted, spilling a glass of wine all over myself. FML
Today, I had to give a speech at my sister’s wedding. I spent weeks preparing every word. When it was finally my turn, I stood up to the microphone and froze. Instead of something like, "Congratulations, I’m so happy for you both," I mixed up whatever jokes I'd prepared in my brain, and blurted out, “I’m in love with your husband.” FML

I have to give a speech/debate soon. Your fainting sounds like a premonition to my day, although, I will be prepared.

This sucks OP, but if you fainted while giving a speech I just wonder whats going to happen when you try to have sex. You might get so nervous you will flop again, sucks OP

Are you visualizing OP having sex?! I'm sure you know that public speaking is a little different to having sex.

brii_g, never did I mention that I was visualizing the OP having sex, that's just gross. What I am trying to say is that if the OP fainted while having to give a speech which isn't scary at all but for some people it can be very scary, I can only imagine what it will be like when they actually have to do something like trying to please their partner

On the bright side, you probably bought yourself more time. If you're lucky, you have until next class, if not, at least until further into this one. "Oh I'm still feeling a bit lightheaded. Can I just go last?"

I hate giving speeches too =___= hey at least you didn't have to give that speech. If you end up fainting from nervousness though they should take that into consideration. Your health is more important than any speech you have to give >o< Whenever I have to talk in front of people, it as to be like a group thing. I don't know where to look so I'm always trying to find something to point/refer to XDD
