Today, I had a job interview. The only moment I impressed the interviewer was when I talked about drama. He started to talk about a play I hadn't seen, but I decided to agree on everything he was saying. Suddenly he said, "the play doesn't actually exist." I silently left the room. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I had a job interview. The moment I walked into the room, the interviewer said, "OK, I will interview you, but there is no way I'm hiring you." FML
Honest
Today, I had a job interview that I really wanted to nail. Everything was great until the interviewer asked me why I left my last job. I meant to say, "I felt it was time for a new challenge," but instead I said, "I felt tired of pretending to care." The look on their face was priceless. Needless to say, but I don't think I'll get the job. FML
Toxic workplace goals!
Today, I walked out of a job interview feeling confident because I'd really hit it off with the interviewer. He called me an hour later to tell me that I didn't get the job, since he was afraid we'd "get along too well and never get any work done." FML
Did I stutter?
Today, I had a job interview. I have a speech impediment and as much as I tried to keep it under control, it came out during the interview. I could tell the interviewers were trying to hold in their laughter. They ended the interview after 5 agonizing minutes, saying they’ll contact me. I left in tears. FML
Am I hired?
Today, I had a job interview. As I walked in, I confidently shook the interviewer's hand, only to say, "I'm doing well, how are you?" before she'd even asked me how I was, or even said anything. The rest of the interview was pretty much a blur of awkwardness. FML
Double take
Today, I walked into a job interview, then turned round and walked back out again. The interviewer was a one-night stand that ended very badly months ago, and she remembered me. I could see in her face the interview was pointless, so instead of grovelling I went to the pub to drown my sorrows. FML
Trickster
Today, while waiting for a job interview, a woman sat down next to me and asked if I was here for the job too. Thinking she was also an applicant, I tried to demoralise her, and said the job was going to be a complete joke. With that, she stood up and said, "Do you still want to go into my office?" She was the interviewer. FML
Clueless
Today, I went to an important job interview, only to be told I'm not what such a "prestigious" company was looking for. This from a pimply-faced 20-something who took a personal call on speakerphone mid-interview, and actually said "LMAO" out loud at his friend's joke. FML
Today, I had a job interview. It went really well until I couldn't figure out how to open the slide door to get out of the room. FML
Today, I had a job interview for an amazing opportunity. Too bad my nerves made me forget what the role was and where it was, mid-interview. FML

You could've tried being a kissass. -The play doesn't actually exist. So you made that up ALL by yourself? Wow, sir, you have an extremely creative mind! I am flabbergasted by the magnitude of your broad imagination. Wait. WAIT. I think I know of a friend who directs plays. He would be so happy if he knew of an angel like you. -Oh my.. *Shy Laugh*

You thought of that all by yourself? Wow! I don't recall ever having read your comments before or you just didn't make a lasting impression on me but reading this fantastic example of kissassery I'm truely impressed and convinced that I have most certainly NOT read your comments before because if I had I surely would have constructed a stalk button just for the sole purpose of continually reading and praising your entertaining and well thought out comments.

You know what else doesn't exist now?... your employment. Lying during a job interview will eventually backfire if you're not careful. You may have been duped, but that doesn't mean that you can't learn from it.

@OP -- I'd say YDI for lying, but the interviewer lied, too. So, if you said something like "I agree with what you say this character did", there's nothing wrong with that; you never knew that the interviewer was lying! So, I say, final verdict is: I agree, your life sucks. :-( Also, look it up, whether the interviewer lied about lying. :P And, I hope you get a better interview (and job) soon. :-)
