I don't know how expensive it is and how it works but if it means a lot to you, or you come from a very religious family/backround then I would also talk to one of your family members (the one who would be the least likely to freak out and say that your lying or something like that; happened to someone I know). Jjust tell them calmly what happened and ask them to help figure out how to tell your family as well as their support. My friend lost hers when she got hit in the groin with a feild hockey stick. She had to be taken to to hospital because she also fractured her pelvis. When her parents where told by an OBGYN that the impact had popped her cherry, her step-father didn't believe him and said he should just come out and tell them how many STD's she got, if she's preagnant/ had an abortation. Needless to say that this wasn't a happy mariage, and my frien now doesn't have to but up with that pig.
