Today, I got 20% tints on my car. As I'm driving home, a cop pulls me over. I didn't want to ruin my new tint by opening my window, so I opened my door as the cop approached. He then pulled out his gun and yelled "GET ON THE FUCKING GROUND!" before I could explain. FML

Today, I got pulled over by a cop. Since my window wasn't working, I opened the door, causing him to run towards me with a drawn gun. He then had a go at me with his night stick. After realizing my window was broken, he laughed and let me off with a warning. FML
Today, I got pulled over heading home from college. My car was full of my stuff from moving out, and I couldn't reach the glove box. I told the cop this, and asked if he wanted me to go around to the passenger side to get my paperwork. He agreed. When I got out of the car, he pepper sprayed me. FML
Today, I went to the police station to find out if the tint on my new car's windshield was too dark. The officer took one look, told me that windshield tints are illegal in California, and ticketed me. So much for being honest. FML
Today, I was pulled over by a cop. He asked for my license and registration, so I reached for my center console. I was then greeted with a gun to my ear because my coffee cup supposedly looked like a gun. I stepped out of my car to apologize, and I was hit with a big stick. FML
Today, I got pulled over for speeding. I started fixing my hair and unbuttoning a couple of buttons on my shirt, hoping the policeman would let me off with a warning. When he got to the car, he rolled his eyes and muttered something under his breath. I saw him walk back to the cop car gagging. FML
Today, my friend was pulled over and told to get out of the car. The officer motioned for me to get out of the car too so I reached behind me to get my shoes. He then pointed his gun at my face and frantically asked my friend if I had a gun. My friend calmly replied, "No, but shoot him anyway." FML
Today, I pulled up to a red light. My ex was in the next car, and my car's windows are so tinted that you can't see through them, so I flipped him off. I was driving my mom's car. FML
Today, I was pulled over by a motorcycle cop for speeding in a 25 MPH zone. As the cop was walking towards my car, I flicked my cigarette butt out of my window. So, the cop did me the pleasure of writing me two tickets instead of one. FML
Today, I was driving home. I desperately needed the bathroom, so I was speeding a little bit. A cop pulled me over and gave me hell. He said he'd heard my story a hundred times and didn't believe me. I couldn't hold it and ended up marinating in my own piss while he ran my plates. FML
Today, while driving I saw a police car riding along next to me. Thinking about the news recently, I decided to give him a quick thumbs up and a smile to lighten up his day. He looks back, smiles, flips on his siren, and pulls me over for not paying attention to the road. FML

#20 - I'm guessing you're talking to me, right? Well, let me tell you something. A. I don't have a car yet, because I don't have the money saved up for one yet, as my parents might only pay a percentage of it if I'm lucky. And I'm not going for a Benz, I'm thinking of getting a nice practical van instead. B. My brother has tinted the windows on all the cars he's owned since he was 18, and he always rolled his windows up and down within the first day he got them, and nothing has happened to it. And I bet if you were a cop, you'd be shot because you didn't think ahead such as the cop in the FML

I've had my windows tinted and you can't roll them down for a while. I don't know what cheap shit your brother uses but that's not how normal tint works.

#10 you aren't supposed to roll down the windows within the first week of getting them. any GOOD tint place will tell you that.

thats crazy!!!! my drivers window wont open and have had to open the door when being pulled over, but that never happened to me. some cops are so power hungry its insane.

that sucks... and that's weird. once the guy i was in a car with got pulled over, and his window was broken at the time and didn't roll down, and the cop didn't react even remotely like that when he opened the door. then again, this is canada.

#28 - No, you roll down the window like a normal person. I know several people who have tinted windows and they've never heard of not rolling down the window after it's tinted, and the windows look fine.
