Today, I was watching TV with my boyfriend, when a World of Warcraft commercial came on. He turned to me and said, "Yeah, I'd choose the Horde over you any day." FML
Today, my boyfriend dumped me because he said the relationship was too tough for him. When I asked for an example, he responded, "Like, I don't have enough time to play World of Warcraft." FML
Today, after six months of dating, my girlfriend decided to break up with me because my "obsession" of being on the computer and playing games all the time was cutting into "our time". She then told me to "get a life" and never wanted to see me again. She told me all of this on WoW. FML
Today, it became apparent that my boyfriend only showers when he levels up on World of Warcraft. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I broke up. He said it was because he wanted to 'do his own thing'. So gaming 24/7 like he has for the past two years of our relationship, then. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me after 2 years of being together. The reason? I don't enjoy playing video games as much as he does. FML
Today, I realized that my husband has a video games addiction. I am currently pregnant; he brought us to the same country he's in so we can finally live together, only for me to witness him being glued to his laptop all day and all night playing WoW. He's forgotten I even existed. FML
Today, after weeks of my yelling, my boyfriend finally listened and got a hobby. Instead of getting into something sensible like martial arts, he chose tabletop gaming. Now I have to listen to hours of boring stories about pretend fantasy worlds, and admit to everyone that my boyfriend is a nerd. FML
Today, my husband quit his job as a university professor and picked up the graveyard shift at a rat farm so he could have more time during the day to play World of Warcraft. FML
Today, my boyfriend broke up with me. He said it was because his online gaming friends don't like it when I ask him to spend time with me. FML

I was with my ex for over 4 years.. and he made WOW his life. He didn't go to bed till 5AM would wake up at noon then play all day. I talked to him about it so many times and he would always tell me to get a hobby..I had no issue getting a hobby.but I also like to spend time with my boyfriend every once in awhile. If he were to actually want to spend time with me and also played his game, that would have been ok. I lived with him but only got about 2 hours a week to actually spend time with him because the wow server was down. I know exactly how you feel. I agree your life is ******. Move on and find someone who actually appreciates you. I did =)

To all of those that are calling gamers nerds: Nerds > Jocks Really. Nerdy guys have to be the best type of guy.....unless they ignore you for video games. But hey Jocks can ignore for sports and such. op....I would suggest just asking him to cut back... oh well....too late

WoW is addictive, just like alcohol, really, it is... I was addicted to it for some time... makes you want to stop going out and such... You should really help him see that his screwing his life up.
