Today, I realized that my husband has a video games addiction. I am currently pregnant; he brought us to the same country he's in so we can finally live together, only for me to witness him being glued to his laptop all day and all night playing WoW. He's forgotten I even existed. FML

Today, I went into labor and got my husband drive me to the hospital. Instead of staying by my side, he rushed back home for a World of Warcraft raid. His excuse? His friends were counting on him and they'd be pissed if he let them down. FML
Today, all I wanted was to spend some time with my husband, since we're always very busy. He couldn't be bothered to put down his video game. Guess I'm forever alone, even in a relationship. FML
Today, I learned that my wife lets our son play video games while I'm at work to "keep him out of her hair." We had agreed that he was forbidden from gaming until his grades came up, but apparently she can't be bothered to actually parent. FML
Today, I realized just how bad my 28-year-old husband's gamer rage is when I came home to a smashed TV. This is the second TV in three months that he's destroyed. FML
Today, I realized that my ex has REALLY dumped me for a video game. And he will not change his mind. FML
Today, I found out my husband doesn't love me. At all. He told me this while playing Call of Duty with his friends with his microphone on. FML
Today, I came home upset about the sexism in my work place. I just wanted to be alone, but my husband insisted we talk about it. I noticed he kept looking over and one of his hands was moving. He was playing video games the entire time I was spilling my guts. FML
Today, I gave the option to my boyfriend of 5 years to either quit World of Warcraft of lose me. He said WOW makes him happier. FML
Today, I realised my husband of 14 years is addicted to his phone. It's the first thing he sees in the morning, and last thing he looks at. FML
Today, my husband had confessed that we couldn't go on a vacation this spring because he was out of vacation time. He took two weeks off and pretended to go to work, then came home once I'd left. Another woman? No, some stupid shit in his video game called "Runescape Leagues." FML

in theory that sounds good but as a new player and not into games she will probably suck really bad and not understand the social community in the game at all making him look bad too. in the end it will be frustrating for him

I agree with Ginathy. He'll never help out with the baby. Ever. Even loneliness would be better than the neglect and misery he's got in store for you. Not good for the tiny person to see that..Don't let that "man" be the example your baby sees. Run far and fast, while you can. If you hesitate, at least make sure he doesn't knock you up again. We are a couple who play wow together, along with DDO, Maple Story and Lord of the Rings on-line. Our baby will probably be weiring yoda costumes playing Nintendo ds at the age of three.

Everyone else here is making a lot of idiotic assumptions. I played WoW while my wife was pregnant, and yes, I ignored her to some extent, because who the frig wants to be around a moody pregnant woman? However, when my kid was born, I changed diapers, watched her all the time, played with her, etc. I now have 4, and am very attentive, yet I still play WoW(occasionally). So yeah, not all is lost, unless you're stupid about it. She's already pregnant with his kid, simply dumping him on the spot is an idiotic solution.
