Today, I found that my cats somehow managed to pull the plug of my fridge out of the socket. Several days ago. Now I have to get rid of a ton of stinking food and clean the stinking fridge. FML

Today, I found out my ex-husband left the fridge full of rotting meat in the house that I'm selling. I turned off the power to the house in March. Now the whole house stinks, and I had to have the fridge professionally removed and the kitchen cleaned because buyers are coming to look at it tomorrow. FML
Today, my roommate read an article about unplugging appliances to save on electricity. Too bad the fucking moron also unplugged the fridge. We came home to a corpse-like stench and a fridge full of moldy food. We were gone for two weeks while the sludge marinated in the California heat. FML
Today, I came back to my dorm to find my roommate forgot to get rid of her massive amounts of cheese before break. She did, however, remember to unplug the refrigerator. FML
Today, I came down in the morning to find that my fridge died, leaving water and meat juice all over the floor. My town only has garbage pickup every other week and the last was yesterday. We're expecting a heat wave this week. FML
Today, I found out my dog can open the fridge. Now I have no food left. FML
Today, I spent almost an hour cleaning and scrubbing the inside of my fridge. Just when I'd finished putting everything back inside, I tipped over the open milk carton. FML
Today, I found out that the mysterious smell from under my bed was my cats collection of dead mice. FML
Today, my roommate finally cleaned her cat's very full litter box. I later found our only good spatula crusted with kitty feces, which she'd left on the kitchen counter for me to find. FML
Today, I found a mysterious container in the back of my fridge. I opened it to try and figure out what it was. I still don't know what it was, but now my entire flat smells like it. FML
Today, I'm covered in scratches because a feral cat found its way under the house and tore apart the A/C duct to climb its way into my room in the middle of the night. After 30 minutes of chasing it, I got rid of it, but my room now smells like cat piss and I'm applying Neosporin to places I should never have to. FML

Idk maybe Russian plugs are different. Some European plugs are two tiny pegs that could easily be pulled out by a cat.

Easy. I was working at Kroger once when a little kid started crying. Turns out there was a dead poodle stuffed in one of the freezers. Apparently it had been there for days. I thought it was kinda of funny until a homeless man started to eat it. He made a mess and the boss made me clean it up. Then it was the opposite of funny. It was unfunny.

For letting a cat run freely in your house? What was he supposed to do? Keep them in a cage their whole life? I have 4 cats that I let walk around my house, and nothing ever happened like that.

I'm guessing this happened when op wasn't home, he should have put the cat in a room were it can't get into anything. That's why I won't live with a cat, they make messes and get into everything! If you have one it should stay outside. Get a dog if you want an indoor pet.

My cat has never done anything like that. But dammit do I hate cats. You can't train them, they try to lay on your face and suffocate you while you sleep, and they just plan evil things all day. Mine is pretty cool (for a cat), but she has urinary tract issues and i have to keep her on prescription food, give her antibiotics about 4 times a year, and do a radiograph every year to make sure she doesn't have bladder stones developing. My dog gets whatever food is on sale, does all kinds of tricks, and scares strangers. He wins.
