Today, I found out that we're supposed to get 3 feet of snow, and the person who plows our driveway is out of town. We're stranded on a huge hill. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Snow day
Today, driving out of my neighbourhood, I encountered three snow plows heading towards me. I tried to turn around in a stranger's driveway but wasn't fast enough, and they left a wall 4-feet high of ice and snow, blocking me in. I rang the doorbell, borrowed their shovel and dug out their driveway. Its -32 with wind-chill. FML
Today, I got stuck in the snow in the middle of street. As I was just beginning to get myself unstuck, the snow plow came by and buried the front end of my car. FML
Today, I got snowed in. At work. FML
Today, a snow storm rolled into my small town, leaving my car stuck under 3 feet of snow. I called my boss to tell her I couldn't drive to work. Her reply? "Walk." FML
Today, my mom and I had to shovel our driveway after an epic snowstorm that left us with 22 inches of snow. We only needed to dig out my mom's car and not mine. After we did all that work and shoveled all the snow onto the side where my car was we found out my mom had a flat tire. FML
Apocalypse snow
Today, I shoveled the driveway because there's enough snow to block my car. Overnight we're supposed to get six more inches of snow. It's like shoveling the driveway is a waste of time because more snow gets piled on it the next day. FML
Today, I spent over an hour shovelling the walkway and driveway, snow blowing in my face and down my coat. When I was finally finished, a guy started going through the neighborhood plowing everyone's driveways for them. FML
Today, the company that was supposed to clear our apartment's parking lot never showed up. I almost got frostbite in my fingers trying to shovel someone's car out since my gloves got soaking wet. FML
Today, my parents left early in the morning to run some errands, and I thought it would be nice to shovel our rather large driveway for them while they were out. An hour later, they returned from the store with a snow blower. FML
Today, I found out I'm going to have to come into the office on yet another weekend to plow snow. This wouldn't be so bad, if I actually got paid to work weekends. FML

You can't find a single other person who would do it for you? I feel like if you were to reach out on Facebook or something that you could find someone to plow

it's like you don't go out because you live on 25th floor and the lift is down

Craigslist as well, I would think so especially in that area there should be several postings by people who would provide that service. Only if op doesn't want to or is unable to take the time to plow it. But if it's only the driveway that's the issue, why not park your car on the street or at the very end of said driveway? (this coming from someone who A, doesn't drive B, lives in a part of the south where half an inch of snow is a natural disaster

Because of snow plows, parking on the street during snow season is not only dangerous for your car, it's illegal.

Get out, now!! This is like the cheesy horror movie where the main character is too dumb to just get the **** out and leave the murderer far behind.

In my experience generally if someone plows they have a circle of friends in the plowing community that help them cover jobs if their trucks break down, they're out of town etc can you contact them to see if they have anyone who can help you?

I live also live in an area where we just got a record amount of snow. I'm too poor to pay someone to plow my driveway so I did the whole thing the old fashioned way. I really don't feel bad for you.
