Now he can say with all honesty "like mother like daughter."

To me, this FML translates to, "Today, I found out I've been having sex with my mom's doctor." The things a gynecologists do with patients are strictly professional. He and your mother are not having sexual relations, OP. You are an adult, (I hope, since you're having sex with a man old enough to carry a medical licence), and I really don't see why this is bothering you. But if the thought does make you uncomfortable, by all means, break off your relationship.

Watch, her next boyfriend will be her dad's proctologist!
Welshite 40
"Yep, you really do take after your father."

Proctologist jokes are full of shit.

I think the real question here is "how"
lionhead29 9
small town?
Mkm1997 20
He told her. She thought it was a yo momma joke
thee_most_dope 30
At least he's not your gynecologist?
kerstileann 26
How would that be bad? He would already have known what it looks like.
keiNan_fml 35
it it was her gynaecologist, it wouldn't be much of fml.
Enslaved 38
I thought all boyfriends were "gynecologists" when they suggest playing doctors? Bragging about their... "PhD"!

that Pussy Hitting Degree?

Pretty huge d...imagination
Whoop_whoop 17
well i dont think it is a big deal. except on the dinner table
ohjoy15 33
Yeah it isn't a big deal. He's a doctor like any other. If this really is a huge problem why can't the mom just switch gynaecologists?
mojobanks 8
I don't think it's a big deal either. Unless of course he delivered you. Then it would be weird.
hugozac88 22
He knows you guys inside out
kirbs19 37
Maybe that's how OP found out he's her moms gynecologist!
kayrb 11
I'm just imagining them sitting around the dinner table and the boyfriend reminds op's mom that she's due for a pap smear.

ON the dinner table? ;)

sounds like he does a thorough exam. hopefully he doesn't compare.

It's almost an Eskimo sisters type thing.
laden_swallow09 35
Huh?
milehigh52 22
To explain #5s comment when two friends sleep with the same girl (not at the same time) they become Eskimo brothers. So he said this situation almost makes them Eskimo sisters.
Econforthwin 15
Thank you
BlindlyWandering 17
Eskimo sisters would require him to have had sex with OPs mother also.
brittaaany_93 38
Tunnel brothers is a much more simpler term I think.
feven 32
Look at it this way. At least your mother isn't your boyfriend/friend's gynecologist.
Welshite 40
Boy, that would be awkward. Try telling a man he has a uterus and a ******, and things are gonna go downhill fast Then you'll have to give yet another sex talk and explain the glories of blood pouring out on a monthly basis, and to carry extra tampons.
feven 32
Holy shit. I feel like an idiot. *urologist
feven 32
Just kidding. That was part of my joke.
Emmamazing 26
No it wasn't

Don't get me wrong but.. Ew.

I see it as family dinners being awkward.
homesuckfucker 28
I don't, but I suppose that it's because I see the human body as a normal thing, and medical exams as a necessity that shouldn't cause tension between the patient and the doctor, or the doctor and the patient's family members. Also, OP didn't say that she was in a committed relationship with her mum's gyno. She said they were sleeping around, and most people tend not to introduce fuckbuddies to their parents.
Candace7 19
I think it's just awkward because she's sleeping with someone who has seen her mom's ******. Should it be weird? No, but it just is.
homesuckfucker 28
[shrug.] I just don't see the ****** as anything other than a body part. I'm actually interested in practicing gynecology- perhaps that's why I have that attitude toward genitalia?
LeashaJoy5595 28
No introduction to the parents necessary; he already knows plenty about OPs mom.
homesuckfucker 28
[At dinner.] "So, Dianne. Any news on that mole?"
Izabushel 65
I agree. It's a bit different because I am female, but I have delivered and supported quite a few of my family and friends when they have had their babies. At family gatherings I don't start thinking "I've seen your ******, I've done vaginal examinations on you, you and you, and I have grabbed your boobs more times than I can count when teaching you how to breastfeed". Actually I had never really thought about it until this FML came up. And I think my friends and family forget the intimate stuff I have done to them. Recently with my Mum, and I asked her to help me dress when I had hurt my back. She felt a bit akward, and I reminded her that I helped shower and dress her a few years go for several days after she had major surgery. She had completely forgotten. I'm sure it's the same with the boyfriend. Next time the mother has a Pap test it might be a bit different, and she may want to see another Dr if she feels akward.
Brandi_Faith 34
If you're female (which I'm assuming) 66, then I think it's a little bit different. A female seeing/helping another female in that area is a bit different in my opinion than this FML, although I completely see what you're saying. Either way, the doctor won't be thinking about the fact that he sees op's mom's ******. It shouldn't be weird, but I understand how it could be.
Izabushel 65
#72 Sorry for my late reply. If you read what I said, the first line said that I am female and it is different.
yolololol3 17
you may not want to take him to a family dinner
born_hustla 26
I'll believe him if he says "it runs in the family". But Hey, you ladies are taken care of!
