Today, I found out I was getting a new bed for my room. Then find out it was my great-grandmother's. The one she died in. FML

Today, after months of taking care of my grandma after a surgery, the doctors gave her a clean bill of health, and I finally got to sleep in my own bed. She passed away while I was at home. FML
Today, I found out that my grandmother desecrated my grandfather's grave. 14 years after his death, she dug up his body and had him cremated so that she could sell his plot back to the cemetery for money. I was the one who found out so I had to tell the rest of the family. FML
Today, after mourning and making my girlfriend cancel her big birthday party, I found out my grandma didn't actually die. FML
Today, I found out my deceased grandmother never liked anything that I bought for her. She would never say anything to not hurt my feelings. The only reason I bought those things in the first place was because growing up she told me that she liked them. Now that she's gone, I'm hearing what she really thought. FML
Today, I found out my grandmother passed away. When I told my boyfriend I began to cry. Instead of caring, he said "you're getting my bed wet," rolled over, and fell asleep. FML
Today, I found an obituary clipping on my kitchen table. It was for my grandpa. No one told me he died. FML
Today, I was expecting a package from a few days ago, but it still hadn't arrived. As I was going to work, I found it at my grandma's house. Why didn't my grandma tell me, you ask? She died last year. My package was mistakenly delivered to A DEAD PERSON. FML
Today, I found out that my favorite aunt passed away. The funeral was last Thursday. FML
Today, after moving hundreds of miles to take care of my beloved grandmother and working like mad for a week to make the house cozy and accessible for her, it was finally time to bring her home. Or it would have been, if she hadn’t died in her sleep last night. FML
Today, I found out my mother had remarried, and that I was getting a stepfather and stepbrother. However, I found out about it 30 minutes before we left to pick them up from the airport, and also found out that I'm losing my bedroom. FML

I also completely fail to see how this is FML. Spoiled brat, jut change the sheets. If it's really gross, change the mattress. Actually, I came to terms with my grandma passing only when I took a nap in her bed -- the same she died in. It was actually were liberating and comforting.

OP, just politely send it back and tell them you're uncomfortable sleeping on that bed. I don't think anyone would take it that personally.

O_O Well still...like everyone is saying so nicely, just wash everything about four thousand times. If the idea that your grandmother died in the same bed you're sleeping in doesn't go away after that (since we all know that cleaning it still won't get rid of the truly messed up, uncomfortable feeling of sleeping in a place where someone died), get rid of it.
