Today, I found out how my parents met. They met at a mental hospital, where they were both being hospitalized. FML

Not always a bad thing. Some people just have a few issues they need to work out. I worked in a mental hospital long enough to know. Trust me you would know if before now if their problems were severe.

From what I've heard, being in a mental hospital is really tough. It's nice that they had each other to lean on and get through it together.

you're the next victim

Thorazine is an aphrodisiac.

I really don't see an issue with that as long as they're both mentaly stable now. I think it's kind of cute actually. They met each other when they were at their worst and still fell in love.

*in.

What kind of douchebag are you? Mental illnesses are just like any other illness. Your "FML" could be "Today I found out my parents met in a hospital where they were being treated for lung infections. FML" and it would STILL be the same. There is no shame in mental illnesses and the fact that you, along with a bunch of people on here, thought this was FML worthy just shows what an ignorant asshole you really are.

Are your parents happy and crazy in love? That is hilarious as hell. You could write up one hell of a screenplay for that. Seriously, have they been good parents? At the end of that day that is all that matters. It would be perfect though if we were conceived in the mental hospital.

If both are ok now then I don't see how it matters.

Having mental health issues does not make you a bad parent. I think you might be looking for a problem that doesn't exist.
