Today, I found out how my parents met. They met at a mental hospital, where they were both being hospitalized. FML

Today, I learned that my parents lied. They didn't meet each other at an acid house rave. They met each other at a crack house. FML
Today, I had to go to the hospital. While I was there, my mom started hitting on a doctor. Later I saw them making out in the room next to me. FML
Today, my parents told me that they received a letter from a prison. Being curious they opened it up and read the entire thing. It was from this girl I randomly met. Now I have a prison stalker and my parents think I date felons. FML
Today, I found out my parents only had me in an attempt to fix their relationship. It didn't work. FML
Today, I intentionally caused my parents to have an intensely heated argument when I asked them how and where they first met. Dad said it was at a funeral, and mom said it was at a burial. FML
Today, I found out that my parents are first cousins. FML
Today, my parents told me about how they met. I'd already known they were eight years apart, but I never knew my dad started dating my mom when he was 21 and she was 13. FML
Today, I realized my parents are pretty much single-handedly responsible for all of the mental illnesses and personality disorders I have now. FML
Today, I realized that something's wrong when you have to go to a mental hospital for a family reunion. FML
Today, my parents met my fiancée's parents for the first time in a large family gathering two weeks before our formal wedding. Both sets of parents were telling funny stories about our pasts. My dad's story won. He told how I spent a week in jail earlier this year. FML

just to clarify, "there" is referring to a place, "their" is third person possessive, and "they're" is a contraction of "they are" if you do not know this on your own, write it down and memorize these rules. if you do know these rules already, USE THEM!! thank you! :)
