Today, I found out how it feels when someone slips and falls while they have a hypodermic needle in your arm. FML
Collection
Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, I now know what it feels like to violently sneeze while a nurse still has a needle in your arm. FML
Today, my needle-phobic mother took me to get a shot. She fainted. FML
Today, I learned what a nail gun shooting my leg feels like. FML
Today, changing the garbage in the bathroom at work resulted in a hospital visit after an incorrectly disposed used needle scraped into my thigh. FML
New sensation
Today, I learned what being stabbed in the leg by an ex feels like. FML
Boing!
Today, I was giving a patient an injection when I heard a cracking sound and the needle was gone. Panicking, I got a doctor to have a look. The patient was sent to have x-rays to find the needle in her thigh. I then noticed the springback system in the syringe. FML
Today, I decided to give blood for the second time. I felt excrutiating pain when she stuck the needle in my arm. Another nurse came running over in a panic. Apparently my inexperienced nurse had put it in my tendon instead of my vein. FML
Today, my 18-year old son decided to run his hand over our wooden fence to try and get a splinter, as he "forgot what they felt like." Last month, he stabbed himself in the arm with a sewing needle because he "forgot what an injection feels like." I raised this idiot. FML
Today, I got my annual blood test. The nurse was inexperienced and it took her several tries to insert the needle properly. When I get back home, my fiancé starts yelling at me and storms out. The reason? I am a recovering drug addict and my arm appeared as if I had been shooting up. FML
Today, I gave blood. He sneezed while he stuck the needle in my arm. FML

That just increased my fear of needles even further. FYI OP.

That must suck! On the side not we live near each other and my grandma got the same thing but she didn't fall

Yeah, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that your grandma lives a secret life as a man (who embellishes his stories) not too far from you. The facts just line right up.

Okay, um, wow. That probably did some serious damage to your vein. I'm not normally a proponent of lawsuits, but I think you should request damages.

"Hi, I would like to request some damage. Is that okay? Thanks!"

That sounds painful, but it sounds even more mentally distressing.

I hope that you and the nurse (or whoever was administering the shot) is okay! That's definitely enough to make me want to not go back there for a long time. FYL OP, hope you're doing okay.

What exactly are they doing when using a needle that'd make them slip and fall? That sounds like a "stand still 'til it's over" situation.

but i bet you probably still found a way to shoot up

What were you doing standing with a hypodermic needle in your arm? An IV? Okay, that's normal. But a hypodermic needle?

Drawing blood, insulin, epinephrine ... Could've been a multitude of things.
