Today, I found a credit card at my job. As store policy goes, we have to cut up lost cards immediately after finding them to protect the cardholders. As I grab the scissors and cut, my manager calls out, "Has anyone seen my credit card?" FML

Didn't you recognize your bosses name on the card...?

The name on the card should have given it away that it was your bosses card. If the name was the same as an employee then you should ask if it's theirs or not before playing Edward Scissorhands.

so, in the heat of the moment you forgot your manager's name?

you didn't know your managers name?

I bet the reply was nup ive aint seen nuffin

I would really hate to lose a card there. Because at my store I've found so many cards... but we simply turn them in to lost and found. That way when the owner comes back they can retrieve their card.

You do t know your manager's name?

You can type but u can't read the name on the card sorry but sad

you were just following policy

I had to click both because while that sucks, you should have looked at the name on the card before you cut it up. It could have been your card. Then if you didn't recognize the name, you could follow the policy
