Today, I finally found the words to describe how I felt after two years of depression. I asked on Yahoo Answers what I should do next. The most 'helpful' answer told me to go on a picnic. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Life's a beach
Today, I finally beat depression by going for a walk on the beach. I couldn't contain myself and happily played in waist-deep water as I walked. I realized my keys for my car, mail, house, and work had fallen out of my pockets and into the ocean, never to be seen again. FML
Today, after several sleepless nights full of crying, I went to my university's free help center. After telling the psychologist my problems and asking what to do, he looked at me blankly and said, "Uh, it's not depression, I guess. You should go out more and, like, party some more." FML
Today, I went to the doctor. I told her I felt down all the time. She asked me a few questions and she told me I was depressed. She suggested to go home and find the sources of my depression. When I told my parents, they started laughing and said "Yeah, right." I think I found my source. FML
Make it easy on yourself
Today, I had depressive feelings, so I decided to write about it to find out what was bothering me, and let go of the negative thoughts. While doing so, I had a panic attack. FML
A brief ray of sunshine
Today, I had an extremely great day, to the point that I actually forgot for a moment that I suffer from depression. When I remembered, I became inexplicably sad, as usual. FML
Good listener
Today, in a deep depression, on my worst night, I reached out to a lifeline. Waited an hour for the counselor to arrive, listen for a few minutes, then tell me I should, "Get my mind off of it by planning my prom, sewing a dress or painting my nails." The application clearly shows I'm an adult man. FML
Wow, thanks, I'm cured!
Today, I got the best advice for my depression and anxiety from my parents and relatives: "Get it out of your head, there's no such thing. And get married!" FML
Down and out
Today, I diagnosed myself with a debilitating case of vicious circle: I am now too depressed to do the things that usually manage to pull me out of my depression. FML
Autopilot
Today, after 4 months of severe depression, I finally found an antidepressant that works. The downside? I no longer have any interest or gain pleasure in any of my hobbies. FML
Ignore the void
Today, I've finally got my mental health under control after decades of flailing. I also started showing signs of Serotonin Syndrome, which is caused by my meds and could result in seizure and death. So my choices are the swirling void of depression or possibly just the void. FML

Why would you ask random online strangers? Correct me if I'm wrong, but therapy seems much more logical...

Sorry to hear that OP... I have to agree with some of the other people on here, though. It's great that you went to find a cure for your depression, but online answers just won't cut it. To really help yourself through this, I seriously recommend going out and engaging in activities that you really like, because staying indoors alone will always bring you back into your slump. With that, I bid you adieu and good luck! :]

People in some categories don't even read the questions. And some are just bitches. Trust me, I have an account.

If so, why they are running to answer every single questions?

Gunnery Sergeant Lee Ermey was the therapist from the commercial. He was also Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket. My comment was a quote of his from the movie. I hate it when I have to explain pop-culture references.

I'm sorry, but YDI for going to Yahoo Answers expecting a useful response. If you're depressed, go see a specialist about it.
