Today, I finally cracked the password on my husband's email account. I don't know which is worse: finding out your husband is cheating on you with several people, or finding his password includes his ex-girlfriend's name. FML

Today, I asked my wife for her computer password because my computer crashed. After minutes of begging her, she finally told me. Turns out that her password happens to be her ex's name. FML
Today, I told my husband that we should write down all our passwords so we don't forget them. Later, after he'd left, I pulled out his password sheet to do a little snooping, only to learn that he'd written them in some sort of bizarre cipher. What's he hiding? FML
Today, I finally found out who has been sending me hate letters, it's my husband's ex-wife. They've been divorced for 7 years. FML
Today, I spoke with my boyfriend's crazy ex-girlfriend. Actually, she isn't all that crazy. He really did cheat on her with half a dozen other girls. The same girls he's apparently cheating on me with. How do I know for sure? Thank you crazy ex for his email passwords. FML
Today, I discovered my ex has been signing my email up for various newsletters. I knew I was getting a lot of spam, but didn't know why. It became apparent when one of these emails had his name in it. FML
Today, I found my boyfriend's Facebook page. I also found his wife's. FML
Today, I woke up to a brand new password on my phone that only my wife knows. Apparently, she thinks I've been looking at my phone more than I've been talking to her lately. FML
Today, I found out my husband is still friends with someone who talks a lot of crap about me. FML
Today, I found out my husband of 7 years has been cheating on me with "10-15" people. FML
Today, after three weeks of fighting with my husband, I found out that he really didn't create an account on a website for cheaters and charge the bill to his credit card. Our daughter did it as a prank, and only confessed because our fighting was stressing her out. FML

I'm just wondering what the completely illiterate person a couple comments above me was thinking when they posted that. I feel it is my duty as a human who cares for others to suggest sitting in on a few first grade spelling and grammar classes. As for the actual fml itself...it sucks you were cheated on, but if you are in the habit of doing things such as cracking an email account of your husband maybe you should reevaluate exactly why one might cheat on you. You reap what you sow.

Thank you #285, that person is an idiot. I don't think that her snooping justifies his cheating, BUT when someone snoops they most likely are going to see what they want to see. Also, there were other ways she could have found out instead of cracking his email. So it is both a YDI and a FYL.

YDI for hacking into is email account. Don't go looking for things you might not like to find. And it's not just women who "let themselves go" after marriage, a lot of men do too. Yet it's always more accepted if it's the men getting older and fatter, but women are always expected to look the same way they did at 20.

All the people who say YDI are idiots, The email password shouldn't have to be broken into the wife should know it because her husband tells her it, there's no reason for the husband to have an email the wife doesn't know the password to unless he's doing something messed up. it's not disrespectful at all to break into it that's what he gets for being too secretive.
