Today, I felt left out by the fact that all my friends are getting married or have great relationships, and my boyfriend won't commit. I made a Facebook up and pretended to talk with this really cute guy I made up. Today, I found out that my boyfriend is gay when he started hitting on my made-up Facebook guy. FML

Today, someone reckoned that I would never be in a relationship. So I made up this whole story about some made up guy named 'Nick' and posted stuff on my Facebook and Myspace that I'm dating him. Now all my friends want to meet him. FML
Today, I made a fake MySpace so that I could flirt with my boyfriend and see what he would do. He ended up dumping me for the fake MySpace girl. FML
Today, I made a fake Facebook account for a girl, and then set my relationship status to make it look like the fake person was my girlfriend. Someone found out and hacked the fake account. My fake girlfriend just dumped me over Facebook. FML
Today, I logged onto facebook, and saw that one of my friends had just listed herself as in a relationship. I was happy for her, so I clicked the "like" button. Then I went to her page to see who her new boyfriend was. It was my boyfriend. FML
Today, I found out that my boyfriend has a Facebook account. He said he didn't have one. Apparently he's not divorced after all. FML
Today, my friends created a fake Facebook profile of a girl, and asked me to be in a relationship. Even my friends think I can't get a real girlfriend, and need a fake one to feel better. FML
Today, I made a new friend at my college campus, which was great, until I added him on Facebook and he started liking posts from 3 years ago, asking if he could be my "dirty little secret" because he knows that I have a boyfriend. FML
Today, I logged on to Facebook to find that my boyfriend's relationship status had changed to being in a relationship with his ex. I asked him about it, and all he said was, "I guess I forgot to break up with you." FML
Today, I logged onto Facebook to find out that my boyfriend is now listed as single. News to me. FML
Today, while walking in the mall, I spotted my ex boyfriend with his friends. To make myself look less lonely, I put my iPhone up to my ear and started an imaginary conversation with my invisible boyfriend. As I passed him, my phone started ringing loudly. It was him calling. He knew I was faking. FML

You deserve that and more for trying to make him jealous like that. Even if he was straight, he'd be 100% right to not commit to someone as insecure and manipulative as you.

OMG. i HAD to create an fml account just to comment on your fml. IT'S THE BEST! i mean, obviously, it sucks that he turned out gay & all. but trying to achieve the same thing as you, i ALSO created a fake facebook account, & it turned out quite helpful actually. but in the end . . . all good things come to an end, so yeah. good luck. :s

Are you entirely positive that he didn't know it was actually you, and he was just having some fun? I mean, yeah, maybe he is gay, which would suck for you, but if you haven't talked to him about it yet, he could just be playing around with you.

Chances are it was easy to guess the account was a fake, and he did it to see your reaction? If he guessed it was you, it's not surprising. It's more probable that it's that than him being gay all of a sudden despite being with a girl... But yeah, sounds like there's a problem anyway, in the not-wanting-to-commit area. :(

I had a friend who everyone knew was gay all throughout middle and highschool. He used to date girls, one for a few years as well. some people go to great lengths to hide who they truly are.
