Today, I discovered that my little brother sold my PS2, 3 and 4 along with all of my games in exchange for credits to use in Fortnite. I've had some of that stuff since before he was born. FML
Collection
Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Fortnite thievery
Today, my little brother decided he needed $170 worth of V-Bucks. How was he going to get it? From the credit card he took from my wallet. FML
Gamer bros
Today, I learned that my friend is selling his PlayStation 5. A few weeks ago I bought a PlayStation 5 to be able to play with him. FML
Today, I came home to find out my roommate sold my PS4, because, "You don't use it anymore." FML
Today, my brother found 100 bucks in his coat pocket. He was so happy he bought 2 new games for his x-box. He was borrowing my coat. FML
Cruel and unusual
Today, my brother threw his Switch across the room and broke it. Our parents decided that, "Video games are bad!" and took away my Switch, as well as my gaming PC that I built and paid for myself. FML
Today, because money is a little tight, I decided to sell one of my retro video game consoles. The family member that initially gave me it to me saw the ad on Facebook and demanded I give it back to them. FML
Today, in an attempt to keep my valuables safe, I snatched my PlayStation 4 controller from the hands of my 4-year-old nephew. Not knowing that it was connected, I ultimately yanked the PlayStation and the HD Flatscreen flat on their faces. FML
Today, I found out that my brother was selling pictures of me showering. For what? World of Warcraft money. FML
Today, I was babysitting a couple of kids. I'd spent time with them before, so I brought my video game console to play with them. I forgot to take it home with me. They soon sold it to another kid for $10. FML
Today, I found out my dad spent most of the $500 I earned from mowing lawns on an Xbox 360 for himself. He was the one who encouraged me to put the money in the bank for college and to learn responsibility. I'm 14 years old. He's 37. FML

On Fortnite of all games? If he were my little brother, I wouldn't think twice about becoming an only child.

Comment moderated for rule-breaking.
Don’t you think it’s about time you grew up and moved on? Hoarding old games and hardware is just sad.

Why? Just cause you get older doesn't mean you can't enjoy old games anymore. I still regret the day we sold our super Nintendo

The only thing that's sad here is you.

Richard, I like you, and I'd like to keep it that way. You just don't understand.

It's only sad if you let it become an unhealthy obsession where you forget that you're an adult and you skip out on adult responsibilities or you lose touch with reality, but that can even happen with modern games.

Clearly, you never experienced how good ps1+ games are.

What an all-around odd post. 1. Even if you're right and the OP needs to move on, that doesn't mitigate having three generations of consoles and various games stolen. 2. Plenty of people have lives and still collect retro tech (e.g. YouTube's 8-Bit Guy, Ashens, Techmoan, LGR, etc). 3. Dunno how old you are, Rick, but I get the impression you're up there in years. Is it time for you to grow up and move on from an app/site whose core demographic seems to be teens and those in their mid-twenties? Is it just sad that you frequently post puerile sex jokes on here?

Has nobody ever noticed Richard's comments are not meant to be taken seriously?

unfortunately fortnite saves to your account, so it wouldn't do much.

Welk I know who will get you a PS2, PS3, PS4 and all your games... And I also know who won't be playing Fortnite for a long time...

Time to delete fortnite for a year, and make him pay it all back with his allowance

Since your little dick brother bought the new game with your things then the Fortnite game is technically yours. Don’t let him play without paying “rent or royalties” first. Win-win

Just go get it back from whoever he sold it to, wasn’t his to sell.

He sold these items for credits in the game which may not be refundable to turn back it into cash. Usually micro transactions/game currency can't be reversed and the game's TOS states this. Course, the seller should have verified the brother actually owned these items.
