Today, I asked a girl out and made plans to go see a movie. About 5 minutes in, I made a move to put my arm around her and smashed her in the face. FML

Today, I went to the movies with my girlfriend. As I started putting my arm around her, I hit her in the face. FML
Today, I was on a date with this girl. I attempted to put my arm around her, but I elbowed her in the face instead. FML
Today, I was in school when I spotted my girlfriend in the hallway. I wanted to be all romantic and grab her like guys do in movies. I grabbed her wrist forcefully and pulled her out of the crowd. As I quickly leaned in to kiss her, I broke her nose. FML
Today, I took my crush to see a movie. During the movie, I made a move and put my arm around her. As I reached over, my hand went straight into the popcorn tub, and I knocked it over. It spilled everywhere, all over her lap, all over me, and on the floor. I spent the next 15 minutes trying to clean up, while she awkwardly avoided eye contact. FML
Today, I tried to impress a girl by draping my arm over the back of her chair. I ended up elbowing her in the nose. FML
Today, I was watching a movie alone with my girlfriend. She shifted positions as I put my arm around her, and ended up kneeing me in the crotch and shouldering me in the throat simultaneously. FML
Today, while my girlfriend and I were making out, she went to fix the pillow behind her head and punched me straight in the face. FML
Today, a girl and I were flirting and it was going well. Feeling bold, I asked what she would do if I kissed her. She smiled flirtatiously and said "Why don't you try it and find out?" I went in for a kiss, and she slapped me. FML
Today, I went out with a girl who I really love. We arrived to her house and before she got out of the car, I attempted to kiss her as planned. Still drunk, I grabbed her head and twisted it when I kissed her. She's now wearing a neck brace. Real smooth. FML
Today, I got punched in the face by a girl for asking if she was okay after I had seen her crying. FML

Smooth move jackass! But seriously, don't feel too bad. This happened. Hell, even my wife has done it to me once. If this girl is worth it then she will see the lighter side of it.... just hope her father/brothers do to if she gets a bruise.

man, that's a must see!! hahahaha.. i'm sorry but the arm around the girl at a movie theatre is a cliché. it's uncomfortable most of the times. Dude, you have the chance to make it up to her and be real nice! see the whole thing as something kewl that happened and that you will talk about and laugh about it later. well unless you really knocked her out. Im clumsy sometimes and trust me, chicks like it. Well those with a sense of humour at least, the rest aren't worth the hassle.
