Today, I'm a 22 year-old guy with a 11:00 pm curfew. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, my dad learned how to use the parental controls. I now have an 11 o'clock curfew. I am 17. FML
Law and order
Today, at the age of 20, I still have a bed time. It is strictly enforced by my cat via endless meows if I am up past 11 pm. FML
Today, I am currently grounded for three weeks, have no car, cell phone, or television privileges, and am not allowed to spend more than 10 minutes on the computer a day. The reason why: I was seven minutes past my 9'oclock curfew. I'm 18. FML
Today, my parents yelled at me for coming home at 1am this morning from a friend's birthday party. I'm 30 years old. FML
Mind of my own
Today, despite the fact that I'm 20 years-old, my parents never allow me to go out and have fun with my friends, under the pretext that I'm a girl. I'm stuck at house all year long, I only go out to the college they forced me to study at, and they decide everything about me. I’m tired. FML
The Dictator
Today, I discovered that my new landlords must meet and approve guests of mine before they come over, and guests are not allowed when they aren't home or past 11pm. I'm 25 years old and just moved out of my parents' home to get away from my controlling mother. FML
Today, my boyfriend and I got into trouble with his mother for me still being at their house at 1:00 am. I'm 24, he's 22 and we really were studying. FML
You gotta be kidding me?
Today, my mom scolded me and threatened to ground me for coming home past midnight. Normally, it wouldn't be unreasonable, except for the fact that I'm 24 years-old, and that my parents live with me, in my own house. FML
Today, after watching over my drunken mother all last night to make sure she didn't choke on her own vomit, I came to the conclusion that at the age of 53, she's more of a party animal than I ever will be. I'm a 22 year-old man. FML
Today, my parents threatened to take away my college funds. Why? Because I complained about my 10 pm curfew during break as a freshman in college. FML

OP, are you not telling us something? Perhaps the curfew wasn't set by your parents, but instead by the little bracelet around your ankle?

Clearly, your parents need to put a little more effort in.

I think you meant 'and' move out.

People talk a good game about doing what ever they want. It's all good until your ass is out on the street. If its not your house STFU or GTFO.

YDI for still living with Mommy.

What if they can't afford to move out because they're in school full time, without a job? That's not necessarily their fault.

@ 5t3ff1k4h: I'm in school full time (which I pay for out of my own pocket) and live on my own without being supported by my parents. The only reason someone lives with their parents is b/c they are too spoiled/lazy to work for what they have. Don't really blame them though...it's much easier to just sit around and have things handed to you on a silver platter.

I'm a little offended with what you said in your comment. I can't find a job in my city, at the moment, because no one is hiring. I've been busting my ass to look for a job, and I can't find one. That doesn't make me lazy in the least! I'm glad you've presumably found a job, but it doesn't make it that easy for the rest of us. There's always something that comes up.

Janise - You can't say the ONLY reason someone still lives with their parents is because they are lazy or spoilt. The OP is 22, which could easily mean he's just graduated from university, which could therefore mean he has moved back in with his parents whilst he looks for a job. It could also be because he has recently lost his job and therefore has no money to continue paying for a place of his own. It could also be because he is on a buisness trip of some description in the area his parents live in, and therefore he took the oppertunity to visit them whilst there. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. And Steph has made hers.

doesn't matter, he lives in their house he has to play by their rules or he can man up and get his own place.
