Today, I accidentally emailed the entire company everyone's salary, sales history, and the names of four people I intended to fire. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Sent from my beach towel
Today, I meant to send a cheeky “I’m out of the office” reply to my team but instead hit “reply all” on an email chain with my entire company, including my boss, HR, and some clients. The message included a joke about “sleeping through meetings” that was NOT work-appropriate. FML
Big Brother shopping task IRL
Today, I sent an important email to my entire team, but I accidentally left a shopping list as the subject line. They responded with grocery items they needed. Nobody mentioned the email content. FML
Freudian slip
Today, I accidentally sent a text message meant for my best friend to my boss. The text was about how much I hated my job and my boss's constant micromanagement. FML
Today, I accidentally sent highly confidential patient records to a fired employee. This employee made the biggest song and dance about it, calling every boss possible. I couldn't have sent it to a better person. FML
Never cross the streams
Today, I was emailing my department about a huge meeting we’re going to have. I was also emailing back and forth with another colleague about office gossip. I absentmindedly replied to the wrong email. I hit reply all to the meeting e-mail, saying that the new supervisor of X department was "so fucking retarded." FML
It's a coup!
Today, at work, I accidentally walked into a meeting at which the whole company was there but me. The meeting was about how they could legally fire me while paying as little severance as possible. I'm the CEO and the founder of the company. FML
Wrong window, sorry
Today, I accidently sent that my butthole was on fire to a group chat with my boss. FML
Three cheers for the boobies
Today, I sent a reply-all email to my entire company that said "Go tit" instead of "Got it". FML

Today, I made a digital contact card for my department that needed to be sent to payroll. Since we didn't have one before, I sent a copy to the rest of the department to use if they wanted. I didn't send the blank though. I sent 100s of people all of my contact info. Somehow, I managed to misspell my own name too. FML
Today, I emailed my fiancé the assignment that I was handed for a journalism job interview, asking for him to take a look and give opinions about it. I accidentally e-mailed it to the job interviewer. She responded, and even CCed it to the CEO. FML

"Today, I received an e-mail stating that I make $20 less per hour than my coworker for doing the same job, despite the fact that I've made nearly twice as many sales as him this month. I also found out I'm getting fired next week. FML"

How is this bad information for the employees to have? It seems like it would be useful to them. I don't understand.

It's confidential information. Most places aren't supposed to talk about wages. If you have 5 people working the same job/position and they're all making different ammounts of money.... that's going to cause problems. Same thing with sales numbers. As a lead it's your job to act professional and confidential.. not sharing information like this....

Who were you emailing it to? Why the hell would you even need to do this?

I don't get it, in order to do this, you would have to make a whole document with this information, click send, select every address, and then click send again. You're a ******* moron.

No, its possible. That he was sending this document to another manager or something and that is why he put it up, and more than likely they have a mailing list with the whole company listed under it for when they need to send out newsletters, memos etc ... and then instead of typing in the person they were sending to they selected the mailing list ... Tiny and very easy to make mistake. This is the reason I triple check all my emails before sending. I have like ... serious paranoia about it.
