why they bomb Campbell River, Canada

Today, feeling in need of a self-esteem boost, I took what I thought was a good selfie and I put it on Facebook. Out of 500 friends, the only response I got was a picture of Saddam Hussein with the caption, "This is why I bomb people." FML

Maybe he said that because your picture was the bomb

That's what you get when you're fishing for a self-esteem boost on social media. Sorry. Be happy with yourself, regardless of what everyone else thinks. Pride comes from within, not from the approval of others.

500 hundred?

Haha I thought the same thing. Typos happen.

your the bomb

Was it your best friend?

That's why you should just stay on FML, you can get a self esteem boost and be anonymous.

I don't think they were necessarily calling you unattractive with that image. Likely they're just tired of people taking selfies and posting them in order to get attention.

They don't sound like very good "friends". You might want to clear your friends list and keep only the people you are close to.

If it was a duck face selfie I would've put that as a response either way if you're beautiful or not. Plus it's funny.

I've learned a long time ago facebook "friends" respond more favorably to pics when it's pictures of my kids as opposed to myself.

Going on Facebook and sharing a selfie for comments is a self-esteem boost nowadays...... I hate this world.
