Today, as I was coming out of the ladies' room, I saw a guy glancing at me. A few minutes later, I saw him coming at me at a fast rate. I decided to run from him. As I got out of the building and into a cab, I saw him from the window waving my phone at me. He was just trying to return it. FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Pay attention
Today, I was at a busy restaurant and, in a rush, walked into the men’s restroom instead of the women’s. I was so focused on my phone that I didn’t notice the stares, or the guy at the sink giving me the confused glare. When I finally looked up and saw the urinals, I practically sprinted out. FML
Today, a guy who annoys me walked over. To avoid speaking to him, I pretended to be on the phone and he walked away. A few moments later, my phone rang. I looked around to see if he'd seen me. He had. He was the one calling me from down the hall. FML
Today, to avoid a guy who's been creepily following me around school lately, I ducked into the girl's bathroom. After few minutes, he stuck his head in with his eyes closed and asked if I was done yet. FML
Today, on my way to work, I was checking my hair in the semi-reflective window of an office building. I suddenly realized that the guy I had a one-night stand with last week was standing on the other side, looking confused. He now genuinely believes that I am stalking him. FML
HEY YOU
Today, on the way home, a guy yelled "Hey, YOU!" from behind me, so I walked faster. He ran up to me, shouting, "I said stop, asshole!" I almost pissed myself in fear, thinking I was being mugged. Turns out I'd left my wallet at the grocery store, and he was just trying to return it. FML
Today, I watched as a guy hit my car, laugh when he saw me running towards him, and drive away. FML
Today, I found a guy getting out of my car with my GPS. He started running and I chased him. We eventually reached a dead end and he gave it back to me. I took it back from him and said, "Sorry..." FML
Today, at the urinal a guy came up next to me to do his business. He stared over at me, looked down, laughed and then left. FML
Caught
Today, I went on a date with a guy. I lost interest in him quick, so I excused myself to go to the bathroom, hoping to make a run for the hills. As soon as I reached the front door, our server yells out, "I hope you’re not thinking about dining and dashing!" FML
Help yourself
Today, I was working at the mall as the girl that stands around giving out samples of the foods. This guy came up to me and we were flirting for at least 30 minutes. With the tray in one hand, I gave him my cell to put his number in it. He ran away with my phone. FML

how did he know you left a phone in the LADIES room?
Intoxicunt 6
He was waiting OUTSIDE the ladies' room with her phone, which she obviously left outside the bathroom. She ran off when he tried to approach her. Simple.

Some women are really hysterical. They think every man is out to get them.

What is it with the ridiculous assumption by so many people on this website that any time a woman feels threatened by a man, it *obviously* has to be because she thinks she's hot?
mnkyc_mnkydo 5
aren't you making assumptions now. your assuming everyone thinks she thinks shes hot.

Fascinating story. Thanks for sharing OP.

Meh, I don't think you deserve it, OP... If a strange man is running at you a lot of women would react in a panic, not stand there and think "Well he probably just really wants to say hi or is trying to return something that I dropped..."
russianspy1234 11
most men are not rapists, and most of those that are rape people they already know, not random strangers, so yes, she deserves it for thinking he was going to attack her, especially since she was in a public place.

i wouldnt say so... no most men are not rapists but when a stranger is charging towards you it's the first thing most women would think. in this day, we cannot be too careful, the world is a sick place and with what the news shows daily, generally consisting of women being abducted or murdered, i would have panicked too. If he said something like, miss, i have your phone, or waved the phone at her, thatd be one thing...but for a random man to approach a woman like that without at least attempting to state his intentions is inappropriate and she took the safe route.

your 100% right dont mind russianspy1234, hes just a moron.

No that is paranoia. Usually if somebody is trying to mug, abduct, rape someone the chosen method is not charging in public place, but hiding and ambushing. YDI
mnkyc_mnkydo 5
if she hailed a cab then she was in public place, why would he attack her in a public place, stop being so paranoid not every man wants to rape, kidnap, murder, mutilate or overall assault every woman.

i agree with #12. why are people who try to be good samaritans automatically considered criminals? YDI. he should have just run off with your phone
