Today, as every day for the past few weeks, my husband won't have sex. His reason? We've decided to have a baby, and he reckons that the longer he waits, the more competition there will be between his sperm and thus the better the result will be. FML

Fall

Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.

Your husband is an idiot.

Sounds like you've already got one.

He should definitely educate himself before reproducing..

Actually, the longer he waits and the older he gets, the less sperm he'll produce. So his theory is invalid.

That's a new one..

You want kids with him?

maybe you should consider outsourcing.

He must have been a sperm who left the sac too early, according to his theory. Which must be why he is waiting.

Actually, waiting too long between ejaculations (over ten days) lowers the sperm quality and the chances of a pregnancy catching at this point is only 3%. The more time that passes that the man's body has to store the sperm, the more opportunity for DNA damage to occur. The optimal time to wait between deposits is between one to two days: This results in the highest quality sperm. And now you know!

I don't think he should be the one that contributes to populating the earth

And he's the sperm that won? Oh geez.

Are you sure you want to breed with this man? :-/
