Today, all of my friends showed up an hour late for my 18th birthday party because they decided to go get dinner without me. FML

Same thing different taste
Today, it's my birthday and I'd arranged a dinner party for 20 of my closest friends. I arrived at the restaurant, fully dressed and everything. When I got there, I thought everyone was ready to surprise me, but instead, nobody showed up. FML
Today, all of my friends bailed from the birthday party I was throwing myself. This was also after they had encouraged me for months to have one, knowing I'd never had my birthday celebrated before. FML
Today, all my friends had a huge party and 'forgot' to invite me. They only remembered about me at 2 am when they called asking for rides home because they were all too drunk to drive. FML
Today, my "friends" and I were supposed to go out to eat to celebrate finishing the last day of school, but with a full day of work first, I decided to go buy them donuts. They decided to ditch me while I was gone, and go early. FML
Today, it was my 21st birthday and I invited a handful of my best friends over. They all stood me up and I drank alone in my apartment. Happy birthday to me. FML
Left behind
Today, it was my best friend's birthday party. Her boyfriend and I agreed to organize a dinner date to surprise her and celebrate. They celebrated, but forgot me until they arrived at the restaurant and saw the dinner reservation under my name. FML
Today, it's my 21st birthday. All my friends and family said they were busy so I figured I was getting a surprise party. Nope. They all were actually busy. I spent my birthday alone. FML
Wait!
Today, I found out I can't go to my best friend's birthday party. To cheer me up, my parents decided to take me and my brother to my favorite pizzeria for dinner. When I was ready and went downstairs, I discovered they left already. They forgot me. FML
Party for one
Today, I invited all of my friends to my graduation party, and even paid for them all to be there. They all didn’t show. FML
Today, it's my birthday and I'd invited quite a lot of my friends to come round and have some fun. When I got home, I saw a few cars outside. It turned out to be for the neighbours. I waited and waited; none of my friends showed up. FML

Don't share the cake. They are probably too full anyways.

Surprise! Usually, a surprise is pleasant, but sometimes it’s finding out how much your “friends” value you.

I've been in a situation like that before. I know it's really heart wrenching and devastating now, but cut them out of your life. If they can't value you as much as you value them, then they are not going to start anytime soon. Trust me, when college/work/adult life comes, those are when you make mature and less superficial friends.

Rip them apart and devour their previous dinners from the inside, in the true spirit of a birthday. Actually dont. Still, your "friends" are not very considerate of you.

I don't believe I would call them friends. I probably wouldn't do anything to ruin my birthday (thereby making myself feel worse), but I would carefully reconsider those whom I would choose the call friends in the future. By the way, did this group include your "best friend" or boyfriend? If so, cut them out IMMEDIATELY, as they clearly didn't consider your feelings AT ALL, on your special day.
