Today, after several months desperately searching for a job and feeling pretty insecure and unimportant, I drove 15 miles to a job interview. On parking my car at the destination, I found that during my drive a spider had been making a cobweb between the car and my hair. FML

Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Same thing different taste
Today, a spider came down from its web in front of my face. This would have been fine and I could have killed it easily if I wasn't in my car. Driving on the highway. I cried. FML
The passenger
Today, while hiking, I walked face first into a spider web. Freaking out, I shook my hair out in case there was a spider. Later on in the day the spider fell from my hair into my food. FML
Panic!
Today, I was driving when I saw a spider hanging from the ceiling of my car. I'm terrified of spiders, so I was watching it instead the road. When I looked back at the road, I had just enough time to swerve to miss the fire hydrant but not the tree. Even the cops laughed at me. FML
Today, I missed the spider but succeeded in keying my own car. FML
Today, I found a spider in my car the size of my hand. Help. FML
Today, a spider dangled an inch away from my face while I was driving. I freaked out and accidentally bumped the car in front of me. Three cops arrived on the scene and I had to explain to them what happened. I can still hear them laughing. FML
Today, I walked through a spider's web with hundreds of baby spiders on it. My afro is now infested. FML
Today, it took a whole half hour of scratching my head before I realized with horror that the weird tickling sensation I'd been feeling was actually a spider crawling around in my hair. FML
Run!
Today, I had a job interview but couldn't find my car keys. I had searched the entire apartment and had missed the interview. Turns out they were in my pocket the entire time. FML
Beep beep
Today, while driving, a spider crawled onto my gearstick. Not being afraid of them, I casually flicked it off. Onto the person sitting next to me. The person evaluating me for my driving test at the time, who happened to be arachnophobic. FML

Did you get the job, or was the spider the only one able to accomplish anything in this story?

So you drove 15 miles without moving your head even once? You know, to check mirrors etc?

I feel bad for the spider. All his little hard work, ruined.

How about, 'While driving to a job interview, a spider had been making a cobweb between my hair and my seat.' I don't see why you needed the first part.

That's what I thought too. So I googled it. Merriam-Webster (hehe. WEBster. i'm immature.) defines a cobweb as: : the threads of old spider webs that are found in areas that have not been cleaned for a long time Debate solved!
