Today, after having to move home with my parents because I'm broke and can't seem to find a job, my mom found out I'm on anti-depressants. She and my dad will no longer be helping with money because she doesn't like "drugs". FML

Fall
Dead leaves, the first cold of the season and an umbrella flipped inside out: fall, the season of grace.
Same thing different taste
Today, after months of helping my mother with bills because she claimed she had no money, I found out she makes way more than what I do. She just wanted my money for alcohol and drugs. FML
Don't go
Today, my parents finally decided to get a divorce. The catch? I'm on my step-dad's insurance and without it, I will no longer be able to receive my absolutely crucial mental health medication, on which, no exaggeration, my life depends upon. I'm cooked. FML
Today, I found my mom throwing my very expensive and important medication down the toilet. She thought I was doing drugs. FML
Drugs are bad
Today, my pill-popping mom, committing disability fraud and stealing from me, called the cops on me, and dragged the landlord into it, is now getting both of us evicted. All this because she'd rather live homeless with her drug problem than to get the help she needs, which I can't provide anymore after 10 years. FML
Today, my crazy drug-addict mother kicked me out of the house after siding with my crazy, drug-addict aunt, who'd just threatened to slit my throat. FML
Boozehound
Today, after being accepted into the college of my dreams, I found out that my mom has spent all my college savings on alcohol over the years, and she says that it's my fault for not "helping her get help." FML
Innocence file
Today, my mom and step-dad tore my room apart looking for the stash of drugs they thought I had. I've never touched drugs in my life, and I guess they believe me now. Didn't stop them from making me clean up the mess they made, though. FML
Today, my mom told me she's a drug addict, sold my bed to buy meth, and then lectured me about how I should be okay with it. FML
Today, my mom took away my medication. She's afraid I'll get "hooked". The medication is anti-anxiety pills. I have horrible anxiety attacks that sometimes cause me to scratch my arms until they bleed. FML
Today, my psycho mom walked in while I was chilling and having fun with some friends. She kicked them out and now wants to drug test me, because, "Nobody's that happy without drugs." FML

Show them the prescription and let them know that they are medicines helping you cope through a tough time. Get them to talk to your doctor if necessary.

I think they’re like my mom, and they know it’s a prescription, but doesn’t agree in it.

In other words they're idiots. Too bad there's no pill to fix that.

Umm wow isn't somebody's mom a narcissist tell your ignorant arrogant mother to get a life and where she wants you to be suicidal or selling yourself on the street to afford your medications 🙄😤

Meanwhile they're taking their various senior citizen pills.

drugs are bad, m'kay? Help them by getting their prescription medicine out of the house. And the non-prescription medicine, too. Just in case, you know. Hey, maybe you can sell them and make enough cash to buy your own prescribed medicine? :D

Why do you feel entitled to get money from them. they are already providing a roof over your head. Be greatful you are not living in the streets.

The parents apparently agreed to help financially until she could move out again, but because she takes medication of any kind they no longer want to help.

mind over matter. I have had depression before and anxiety to this day. you dont always need medications there's other ways to cope with the issues

Wow, I'm sorry they're so unsupportive. Depression is tough enough as it is. I hope you get back on your feet soon.

I really hope you got your intelligence from your parents. They obviously have none left, after all.

How could people that stupid even raise us in the first place? It's a wonder we even survived loving with them.
