Today, I was badly sunburnt even after making it a point to apply a lot of sunscreen. My coworkers thought it amusing to slap me every chance they get. FML

Today, I went to the beach. After applying sunscreen liberally and doing my best to stay out of the sun, I came home with the worst sunburn I have ever had. I almost needed to go to the hospital. I am officially too pale to be allowed outside in summer. FML

Today, it was lovely outside so I decided to tan outside. I burn pretty easily, so I put on sunscreen. I fell asleep on my side, so when I woke up, I had a massive burn on only one side of my body, with sunglass lines. Tomorrow, I have a job interview. I'm going to go in looking like a racoon. FML

Today, I got 2 creams for a skin condition. The one for my face says "Don't expose skin to sun after use of this product". The one for the rest of my body says "This product relies on exposure to the sun". In other words, I have to be outside as much as I can, naked and with a box on my head. FML

take it from a ginger: you gotta apply sunscreen every 45 minutes to an hour, make sure it says broad spectrum or both UVA and UVB protection, and is at least 30spf. I always go for the 50 myself. I feel for ya tho, fyl indeed!!

Try using sun block instead of sunscreen. Really odd that the sun would burn you through cotton clothing though. Continue using if you go outside cause the burn can get worse.

I feel your pain=(. I don't event bother with sunscreen anymore, since I burn even with SPF 60. Might as well not be greasy when I'm burnin.
